"From being told by another hospital, my grandfather has stage 3 untreatable lung cancer and gave him no chance to live more than 45 days, Jason Berilgen began treatment and within 3 months had reduced the cancer significantly. In a 6 month time span, my grandfather is now %100 cancer free and is as strong as ever. Cannot stress how incredible and thankful we are that Dr. Berilgen stepped in at the last hour and saved my grandfathers life. THANK YOU SO MUCH JASON!"
"Outstanding !!! Dr Berilgen and his staff are a very caring group. They focus entirely on the patient and their needs. Never once did I feel like a number. I always felt comfortable when receiving my treatments. I would surely recommend them to anyone seeking radiation treatment. Thank You Dr Berilgen and your staff for making this experience one I would call outstanding !!!"
"I had a very minor issue and got radiation therapy for 4 days straight post surgery in the area between my chest and neck. I had no idea what to expect and the thought of deciding on the radiation therapy route instead of steroid injections post surgery already gave me so much anxiety! I knew that I did not want it to grow back before my wedding so I thought this was the best solution. Upon arrival right after surgery which I had it done elsewhere, I was a little loopy but so afraid at the same time. The staff at Millennium Oncology instantly took me in with open arms and greeted me, especially Dr. Berilgen. He is a brilliant and humble doctor who made me laugh instantly. Every procedure that was done was explained everything thoroughly and they always made sure I was very comfortable which was my #1 priority. I looked forward seeing this cheery staff for the next three consecutive days. I definitely would recommend any patient to go here a million times. The best decision I have ever made for myself! I’m so grateful for this great experience and I truly appreciate everything that the staff and doctors did for me at Millennium Physicians. Thank you so much for lifting my spirits and gaining my confidence again, truly. "
"Dr. Berilgen is an excellent physician. When I was diagnosed with breast cancer back in 2010 he helped navigate my treatments from the start of my diagnosis. Dr. Berilgen is very efficient and knowledgeable. I felt very comfortable with him and his staff. The radiation was quick and painless. The treatments typically last about 15 minutes. I highly recommend him."
"My mom was diagnosed with stage 4 bone cancer 8 weeks ago after going through stage 3c breast cancer 2 years ago. Dr. Berilgen was my mom's radiology oncologist. I wasn't able to go with my mom to her first couple weeks of visits with Dr. Berilgen, but I heard from my mom after each visit, and she didn't feel comfortable with the doctor. I made a decision to go with her to see for myself why she didn't enjoy going to him. Going to any doctor when you have cancer isn't a pleasant experience, but my mom really loves all her other doctors. The visit began with Dr. Berilgen telling us a cat scan was clean on a particular rib that was causing pain. When asked what he thought was causing pain, he said he wanted to do another cat scan (a week after the last cat scan) because it could be cancer...even though he told us it was clean. We were very confused, which he was quick to tell us by saying we weren't understanding what he was saying in a very rude tone. The entire visit was Dr. Berilgen talking in circles, contradicting himself, and making no sense, and just being very argumentative. I could not handle hearing him talk down to my mom any longer. I could never do justice with my words to tell just how rude he was to my mom! I asked him if he felt it was ok to talk to patients the way he was speaking to my mom, and I reminded him that he deals with cancer patients and their families. These are people who are going through quite a bit in their lives and could use some compassion and respect. He then told me " I don't need advice on how to be a good physician or how to have good bedside manner from the two of you." I was appalled and we immediately left his office. We will find a new compassionate doctor to help my mom. Dr. Berilgen is NOT that doctor!"
