"In 1998, as a kid, I was a patient of Dr. Kalter's. The first thing he said to my parents and me was "I am not here to treat you, I'm here to cure you." Those words changed our lives. After chemo, radiation and numerous surgeries, almost 20yrs later, I am alive and well today. Ten years after my treatment, in 2009, my father was diagnosed with cancer and a grave prognosis.
