"Very pleased my lawyer recommended this law firm to take care of my estate. They are thorough and great to work with; highly recommended."
"I wanted to take a moment to express my deep appreciation for all the work Elizabeth and team put into completing my estate plan. Your professionalism, attention to detail, and dedication to delivering the best possible results were truly outstanding throughout the entire process. Thanks to your expertise and guidance, I now have peace of mind knowing that my assets and legacy are protected and that my loved ones will be taken care of according to my wishes. Your knowledge and experience in this field were invaluable and I am grateful for all the time and effort you invested in making sure my estate plan was comprehensive, thorough, and tailored to my specific needs."
"Liz made the experience of setting up a new will and trust straight-forward. We now feel very well prepared for dealing with whatever the future holds. Liz was not only competent but kind and understanding."
"It was time to update the will . . . you know that laborious document that you have really no idea of what your signing? Yep, that's it! Thanks to my banker's recommendation, I contacted Liz and her partners. One of the greatest gifts my father gave me was most of the information for his final wishes, where all the money was and that his lawyer was ready to execute his will. His investments were much more complicated than mine but I still knew it was time to update. My objectives to make this process was: * to make settling my estate as easy as possible for my children * avoid possible tax consequences. So, I got to work and here's what I experienced. You'll probably start with Frances and he kept me organized regarding appointments and initial responsibilities throughout the project. Then the first meeting with the oh so pleasant, friendly and handholding Liz, As soon as the meeting started, I knew this was going to be a pleasant experience. Can you imagine? She asked for my expectations, and then her paralegal and associate prepared and action plan for me to gather the appropriate documents, names, addresses, etc. Check! When that was done, they got to working on the document. Of course there was all the legalese but also a flow chart that incorporated all my requests, accounts and steps to complete. I know understand what is going to happen. After signing the will, this is the part that made me happiest, they gave me a folder with a list of items that needed to be wrapped up. The folder included all the info institutions would need to know or have to complete the process. THEN, when I finish my to do list . . . they're going to give me a notebook and is going to go over the information with my children and spouses to make sure they understand the process. I haven't received the notebook yet, but I've been told it will include tab with all the sections that my children will need to wrap up my estate with the documents they'll need. I know, your children, beneficiaries and executor elated! A couple of tips from me to you: 1. Start communicating with your children, beneficiaries before beginning this process. 2. Start gathering documents now -- birth certificates, marriage certificates, divorce decrees, real estate, contact info, insurance policies, banking statements, passports, etc. 3. One item I've yet to do, but know from experience, is collecting all passwords into a vault and give the executor the info. Don't delay doing this important task. No beneficiary or executor EVER said, "I'm so glad XXX didn't have a current will". I wish you luck with this experience but if you work with Nielsen Law, you won't need luck, you'll have professionals holding your hand throughout the process and longer!"
"I love this place! I feel they really get us. My partner and I love working with Liz. She is so knowledgeable, very professional but above all, one of the kindest people I have ever met. Highly recommend."
