Without getting into the nitty gritty too much: my ex would not agree for me to be the primary parent, to the point we had to go to court for a judge to decide. This took three separate court dates. Finally the judge made their decision, though it didn’t take long for my ex to file an appeal. Yet again, we had court. This took two dates, at the end of which the judge stayed with their initial decision.
