"My family and I are VERY DISAPPOINTED with the ineffective counsel rendered by Maverick himself. During the process he rarely showed up to the court dates and when he did he would get into it with the judge. This, in return, kept getting the hearing reset. After several missed court dates Maverick shows up to the one in particular got into a heated disagreement with the Judge and got the client sentenced to FIVE YEARS, when the cl was promised probation and jail time was never on the table. Maverick had the client sign their rights over unbeknownst to them as he promised the client everything would be okay. When in reality what Maverick had the client sign was an agreement to serve 5 years and waive all rights to an appeal and trial. Maverick then promised me that same day, the client in question, wouldnt serve no longer than two weeks. Fast forward, IT HAS BEEN A WHOLE YEAR and Maverick is unreachable. He supposedly put somebody else on the case after he took a 3 week vacation in Greece while his client sat in the county jail. Supposedly its an appeal lawyer but what good is an appeal lawyer when you already had the client sign over their rights to an appeal! It ridiculous and highly offense he is not actively trying to RIGHT HIS WRONGS. The client has NEVER been in trouble before and was going in for a simple hearing but since Maverick did not provide the services we paid a pretty penny for, the client was sent to jail that same day. Maverick didn't even fight for the client to get his affairs in order and settle on a turn in date. Since then the client has lost his business, his home, his vehicle and his family has had to suffer. To make matters worst the client had just welcomed their first child into the world at merely three months old. Maverick has not stood by his word or work. WE NEED ANSWERS!"
