"Da Catch? More like Da Wait. Nice enough, but this place has a serious overpromise, underdeliver issue. Hint: You should aim for the other way around. I was told 15 min. Waited for 40. Went in and got order. Was told BBQ sauce was 50¢ extra. No way am I paying extra for that. It was a chicken tenders and fries order, nothing that should take that long. Shouldn't BBQ be free of charge? Nickle-and-dimers"

"This isn't some big fancy spot in Rockford. Da Catch is a small spot just pass the corner of St. Charles and Alpine. Most tourists type likely wouldn't consider it. Full of bright lights, big picture signs with pricing and a few other things that may be considered drawbacks. If you are looking for simple, hot and good tasting fried catfish, fried shrimp chicken wings and fries, then Da Catch is your best stop option in Rockford. The service is always important to me. The ladies were helpful, friendly, courteous and pleasant. They adjusted my order to benefit the family on pricing. A winning situation. Thanks!"
