The Original Opsahl's Pizza

"I'm a young Rockford native trying to find the best pizza in Rockford, and my medium for this experiment is the most unbiased option available: a plain cheese pizza. Overall Opsahl's is a solid choice. I ordered a Medium and was pleasantly surprised, it seemed pretty large for a medium pizza.The crust was a bit tough for my liking, but the crunch and toastiness of it was satisfying. The sauce was standard for a pizza, I feel like if it was a bit sweeter I would have been impressed. Where Opsahl's pizza really shines is the cheese. The cheese was near perfect, it had a bit more cheese than other pizzas I've tried and it was truly delicious. The herbs also really added to the flavor. Overall Opsahl's is a solid pizza and for a good price as well, coming in at only 12$ for a Large. Definitely a place I would come again."

"Ohh my, My husband and I stopped in for a Italian Beef. It was very delicious, the bread was fantastic!! Prices are very good for the amount of food that was given.. Can't wait to try a pizza.. Thank you for the chat and good food."

"Omg the Italian Beef Pie is soooo delicious!!! The small is honestly huge... I never heard of such a thing before... but now Im addicted!!! Everything is soooo reasonably priced and tastes great! Family owned/run business!! Definitely recommend coming in and supporting local! Bright and clean outside and inside!!!! Parking is great too!!!"

"6:30pm. Sun. Oct. 8, 2023 I am new to Rockford, IL. This was my first visit. I must say I was truly impressed with the freshness of all the ingredients, with being able to watch as they made the dough & my pizza. I am anxiously wanting to try their Italian Beef Sandwich. Then I will probably give a five stars . As of this date I have NO COMPLAINTS. Job Well done."

"The service was amazing. Everyone there was super friendly. The place is clean and you can see right through to the kitchen and see how clean and organized this business is. And of course, the pizza is absolutely delicious. We got two pizzas,one was pepperoni and jalepeno,and one sausage ham and mushroom.The Crust, cheese, sauce ,toppings were all fresh and cooked to perfection. Glad this place is now open, we have or new favorite spot! Thank you"
