"If I could give this location a BIG FAT ZERO I would. They have no sense of urgency. Still waiting on a call back from the supervisor Debbie going on 4 weeks now. After calling and calling (mind you every time I call I wait over 30 mins at times for someone to answer )maybe this will get her attention. Please be your own advocate get a second opinion. You/your love ones deserve the best care. You/your love ones should have a doctor that genuinely cares about your wellbeing. If you DO NOT feel comfortable with your current doctor you have the right to change doctors. There are different locations other than this one. DO YOUR RESEARCH! Get a second opinion to insure you are being treated correctly. My mother had Dr. Ezwiurio the lack of concern she had for my mother is disgusting. No sense of urgency, concern or empathy what so ever not just for my mother but other doctors and nurses that tried to contact her as well. And the automatic response that comes with reviews is a joke. If you can’t even get a call back what makes you think sending a email is going to do."
"I was referred to Texas Oncology by my PCP. Getting the operator takes about 10 to 15 minutes of holding and listening to a repetitive elevator music piece from the 1970s. When the operator answers the phone, she connects you to the doctor's office. The doctor's office requires more holding for a receptionist to answer. After several minutes, a message comes on asking that you leave your name and phone number. I don't have cancer, but I feel sorry for those who do and have to go through this process just to make an appointment. I will update this review after my first appointment."
"I didn't Wana be mean giving less than 2 stars. I was referred by my Primary Doctor to Texas Oncology, after calling several times I had to go in person for an appointment. I left the paperwork my Dr primary Dr gave me . This lady at Texas Oncology told me (don't want to mention her name), they tòld me the Dr will check my tests and if it was necessary to be seen, they will call me. I'm still waiting for them to call me. It's gonna be already almost a month. hopefully they will before something happens to me."
"Hard to get a hold of. I'm still waiting. I was referred to Texas Oncology for a second opinion and was told to get in touch with them if I didn't hear back about an appointment after 2 weeks. After not hearing anything, I called a month later only to be transferred to an office that never answered their phone (I called several times) and I left a message every time. The original doctor's office that gave me the referral called to tell me that Texas Oncology had tried to get in touch with me 3 times and had closed the case because I didn't answer. I hadn't received any calls or voicemails from Texas Oncology and even double checked the number that was on the referral to verify that it was correct. The original doctor's office said they resent the referral and I tried to get in touch with Texas Oncology again, only to be transferred again to the office that never answers and left messages with my number on several occasions. Still haven't heard back, but have since found someone else for the second opinion. Wouldn't recommend this center for their blatant lack of communication and professionalism (claiming that they had tried to get a hold of me when I have not received any calls even though the number on file is correct). If you need an oncologist, go somewhere else and you might have a better chance at seeing one."
"This place sucks. Abnormal lab results are not addressed. They do not have in person appointments available without a second referral. Why is my insurance paying them when I have to tell them to do their job? Be your own advocate because they'll let your health get worse. Texas Oncology is a nightmare. Actually, healthcare in El Paso is a nightmare."
