Reviews of H-E-B Curbside Pickup & Grocery Delivery
"My longest review, but I have some good points. HEB curbside is convenient, but has a few issues compared to other curbside pickups. I will be comparing to Walmart specifically as they are comparable. The thing is that the amount of inventory that they have on the app vs the store is extremely different. It feels like they don't even have half the inventory on the app that they have in the store. These are things the store always has in stock. I know this because when I go into the store I can always get the item. Comparatively Walmart gives a lot more options. The predicament is that I prefer HEB products. In turn what happens is I settle for much more exspensive products, because these are all the options they give you. (This varies based on the product) I personally believe they are doing this purposely to increase revenue. It definitely doesn't look good for the company in my opinion. Every other store has a much more accurate inventory compared to HEB, so one does wonder. Another issue is that the same items are more expensive on curbside then in the store. It's really confusing, and I don't know how they're able to do that. I have spoke to other people who agree with this. On top of that they charge a $5 convenience fee. I honestly wouldn't mind paying it except for the fact that; they are pushing you to pay for name brand options, upping prices on items that are cheaper in store, and charging the fee......while Walmart offers almost all their products through Curbside, prices are the same as in store, and there is no convenience fee....something seems off. Curbside really is a game changer for someone who lives in a more rural area. Like I stated before I love HEB products. I have however lately switched to using Walmart as well. If HEB doesn't give me an affordable option on the product I'm searching for my business automatically goes to Walmart. To end on a positive note, the curbside delivers are almost always so nice and pleasant. I've pretty consistently experienced impeccable customer service from them, including at other locations. That is greatly appreciated."
"Everything was awesome. It was obvious that they were very busy, yet you could tell that each person coming out to deliver had a positive attitude. Katie was our HEB curbside attendant, and she was GREAT!!!!"
"My debit/credit card was scammed within 10 min of ordering . My bank notified me immediately. I have been trying to change my credit/debit card ever since, but several e-mails, phone calls etc. have been unsuccessful. I can neither add a new card nor change the card I have. Several attempts at communication have been ignored. I have given up. It seems I can't even start over as every time I google HEB Curbside my account comes up. That is the account I can no longer use as the credit/debit card number there is no longer valid. (That's the one that got snatched.)"
"I have been doing this for a couple of months and I LOVE it! They do a fantastic job and are so courteous! Saves me time and money since I can see what I am spending as I shop online. My grocery bill has dropped an average of $35 per trip. Try it!"
"What is there not to love about HEB. It seems like the HEB here in boerne is always striving to be better and to solve problems that a fast growing community brings with grace and convenience. The store is always well stocked and clean and they always focus on having enough lanes open to make the lines go by fast. I broke my leg and couldn't drive, the home delivery option was a life saver! The curbside pick up is great and I have not had any problems with it at all. My only thing is maybe they need to relocate the curbside pick up area, where it is now is on a main drive coming in and out of the parking lot and it is hard to pull in and back out of those spaces."
