"I have an extremely unique friendship with an individual, a rare breed like I've never seen before. 10+ years, consisting over the span of multiple frames of time.. whether we were together or living in our own worlds; free or incarcerated. He has been incarcerated for 3+ years, pending previous & very serious new charges. I got out a little over 4 years ago. When I look in her eyes, I received the same calm I experience on the phone over the previous year. I got the chance to shake her hand & give her a hug, confirming for myself that which I already knew. This world is full of beautiful people, and I was standing in the presence of another pristine example. Justice/righteousness being served & upheld.
