North Star Child Development

"I have nothing but awesome things to say about North Star Daycare. My son started going here when he was a few months away from turning 3yrs old. I was a little nervous because it was my first time having to place one of my children in daycare but when I walked into North Star everyone was amazing. I love that they have an open door policy and cameras in every classrooms. The teachers and staffs are all so great!!! My son now is in a CPS but still talks about NS, when we drive by he always says “Mami my old school” lol I love my teachers there Ms Antonia and Ms Brenda and I just laugh! THANK YOU North Star for an Awesome Experience!!!"

"If you want a trustworthy center for your kids. This is the daycare center for you. My son Kyrie is a handful I suspect he’s autistic and they are really helping me with this. I sat and watched him through the door a couple times when no one was looking and while he’s having his episodes they are really patient with him hugging and kissing him like I would. This is very comforting to me to know that my child is not looked at a certain way because of his behavior and still loved and very well taken care of like a mother would."

"I am a Chicago Public School Teacher and I don’t even want to bring my kids to my school. Since birth my kids have been here and they LOVE IT. My oldest son Michael still gets excited to go in and see his old teachers at the center. The entire staff have always been helpful since I’ve been knowing them. They helped me get approved for Childcare Action, sat down and assisted me with all the necessary paperwork. And it’s so family oriented here the staff know ALL OF THE STUDENTS BY NAME, they all build their own personal relationships with the kids. It makes me happy to know that my kids are happy… I ABSOLUTELY LOOOOVE IT."

The staff is great, any concerns you might have, they resolve them QUICK! I love the fact that they have a open door policy & cameras so that you could watch your children if you want. I am very observant and I can honestly say the teachers really care about the students as if they are their own!"

"My children are currently enrolled at North Star Development Center for over 6 years. My children have been well taken care of and has been able to receive services for speech and Occupational therapy. What I like the most is being able to look at the cameras to see how everyone works with my children, this has been a relief because as a mother I due get worried and I am not always been able to be part of the meetings, this has helped me how to cope with some of the stress. When my children aged out of their class it took some adjusting, to get used to their class as the environment and friends were new to them and in getting to know the new teachers, but that’s part of growth development and I couldn’t be more happier and satisfy of having my children attending this day care."
