"Keep on looking!!!! The director Michael is super unprofessional!!!! I was waiting for my two kid’s spots for more then half a year!!!!! He was just lying every time I was calling them to check on availability. In january he said, we ll have the spots ready in march. In march he told me may. In may, he promised me june. In june, he said august. Very disorganized. I think my kids were never on that damn waiting list. I just don’t understand why waisting my time!!!!! He was never answering the questions. Very evasive and superficial. I liked him when we met for the tour. But he really start to play on my nerves and patience. It was my fault for trusting his big mouth. He is not serious and don’t care. Very poor communication skills. After all this experience i realized that s for better my kids are not attending this school. It took me a month on the waiting list to enroll them at another center. What a frustrating situation. They are not worth it. The building itself super old. Everything inside super antique. I mean furniture, toys, etc Very inconvenient parking. A super tiny back playground. The property is located on a busy and noisy street. Didn’t have the chance to know the teachers. How you can trust them after all this??????"
"This preschool has fostered social, emotional, and academic growth in both of my children. I credit the teachers and directors with instilling a helpful spirit in my kiddos as well as helping them to manage their behavior. Not only do they come home showing off their knowledge of the letter names and sounds, numbers, and songs (they love the music program!) but they also help me and each other clean up at home, quoting rhymes from their teacher about everybody working together. Staff are consistent (same teachers every day), caring, and extremely knowledgeable about child development. The curriculum is play-based and developmentally appropriate. My kids even rave about the food, and have learned to try vegetables that they would not at home. The teachers here are absolutely wonderful at creating a family-like environment among the students, instilling a love for reading and thinking, and connecting curriculum to life experiences. They have certainly added to my children's education and well-being on multiple levels."
"My family has been using MPCCC since February of 2015, so about four years now. The toddler room was great for both of my children, and as we transitioned to more days per week (we started at two days) my oldest child really blossomed with her peers. MPCCC has been good with our food allergies, and I've received good advice and feedback from the the head teacher, Ms. Anne-Marie , regarding my children's developmental and learning progress. The food provided by the in-house chef is both healthy and tasty! Art supplies are always available and the staff picks out the cutest organized craft and STEM activities to do with the kids. Their play-based approach is boosted by the endless types of blocks and building kits that are throughout the center. At pickup, my preschooler is often practicing his scissor skills, or hole punching (pincer grip), and shows me all the handwriting, math, and logic exercises he did over the day. Both of my children will be attending MPCCC's summer camp this year, which is a blast and has created lasting memories for my older child."
"Our son has been going to Mount Prospect Child Care Center for a year and a half now. He absolutely loves it and we are very satisfied with all the teachers and the director, Mr. Michael. He and the staff always take time to talk to us when we have a question about our son. The place doesn't have the newest toys or furniture but it's clean and we don't think shiny toys make a daycare great."
"The director ABSOLUTELY cares about the safety and well-being of the children. He is very knowledgeable and well-educated in early childhood best practices. All the staff is extremely friendly and sociable. The children are always learning and engaged. Parents have to have a code to enter the facility so it is secure. My daughter has thrived here and loves attending. My kids have been enrolled in a few daycares over the years and this is by far the best one they have attended."
