"I really enjoyed the few sessions I had with Dr. Hall. She was a great listener, very easy to talk to, and made me feel understood and cared for. One week we had a miscommunication on our meeting time and I arrived thinking it was time for my session but she had an appointment with another client. It was completely fine and we agreed to reschedule but then I never heard from her again. I tried texting, calling and even left a voicemail. I find it very disappointing especially considering abandonment and rejection were two of the reasons I was there meeting with her in the first place. Luckily, I am far along enough in my recovery to not take it personally, but I know how harmful this type of treatment could be to a fragile patient. Regardless, it never feels good to be in a situation like this."
