"My boyfriend and I are new clients and have been to therapy once before for one session with a different therapist. She is located in Market Street in the Woodlands with a nice cozy office that didn’t feel like a cold doctor’s office. It was more of a hangout spot. Our first session was nothing short of amazing, She was very open, neutral and provided feedback which was what we were looking for. Usually you don’t get that in the first diagnostic session. She was super helpful in figuring out our insurance costs. She also went over the original time with no complaints. She was really listening to what we were saying and took notes. She recognized right away issues we have had and set an expectation of addressing it later on instead of ignoring it and focusing on one thing at a time. When my boyfriend and I disagreed on something she dissolved the tension in a very soft tone so that we could really uncover specific details that rooted the tension in the first place. He tone and body language was very approachable. She isn’t your normal by the book therapist, she is genuine and cares, verses sounding scripted or robotic. She is way more personable that our first therapist. I feel like in just one session we accomplished so much. We are already excited to go back to her this week and look forward to working with her for many weeks."
