"There is no way to describe the fear and devastation that comes with a diagnosis. You worry about the present and the future. It’s a lot. Finding the right ABA facility and providers adds additional stress to the tailspin. Finding Rise with ABA took the sting out of the diagnosis and gave us genuine hope for the future. Owner Amy puts her heart and soul into developing the culture and creating a safe and loving environment for therapy and progress. She has also amassed an incredible group of talented, kind, and positive RBTs, BCBAs, clinic managers, OT, speech and staff (apologies if I left out a title or more). They follow child’s interests to teach skills and improve communication, and offer real-to-life experiences to make the experience less clinical. Our son is thriving. He loves “school” and has made meaningful progress. We are beyond grateful to have found Rise."
"We started our ABA journey in the Austin area, until we were relocated in 2020 for my husband's job. A few months after we moved, I started researching ABAs in the area, and if there were any accepting new students. My son was scheduled to start kindergarten via distance learning in the Fall, and I was anxious to get him prepared for the big change. I knew the months in lockdown/quarantine may have hindered his social growth he had been making in ABA before our move, and was hopeful I could find a location that was a good fit for my son. One of my biggest requirements for an ABA, is having a facility that fells warm, inviting and personalized, with a more family-like approach rather than other big name ABAs in the area. When I first spoke with the owner Amy, a mother of an autistic son, I knew this was a facility I needed to explore. After an initial consult with the BCBA & therapists, I knew this was the place for my son. Over the span of 2 years, my son excelled with the staff at Rise with ABA. They sent daily & weekly updates with pictures so I felt confident in my son's progress. I could see he was having a great time with his therapists and peers, and he was excited to spend time with his new friends. They staff helped encourage spontaneous conversations, and recognizing social cues while also giving him the confidence he needed to apply himself academically at school. They worked on managing his big feelings as best as possible for a kiddo his age, and encouraged confidence in daily tasks like self care & grooming. The impact these individuals had on my son's life, is incredible. I know that their early intervention, and personalized approach towards ABA, brought me my bubbly son back to the charismatic little guy he was before his big feelings and anxiety shut him down. It was a gradual process, but they have the tools and compassion to help your kids on their journey of navigating what it is to be neuro-divergent. I know people have different views on ABA, but I can say whole heartedly, as a neuro-divergent person myself, that these individuals care, and truly make a difference."
"Our son was diagnosed on the ASD spectrum at age 2, and is now 6. He has been attending therapy at Rise now for 2 years+. We are always impressed with their attention to detail and individualized thought and plan for each child. The therapists and staff are very well organized so caring. They are truly invested in how our son is doing. He has benefited immensely from his time here, and it seems that every week he is doing something new for himself and discovering the world more. We would highly recommend this group."
"My son has been going to Rise with ABA for more than 2 years now. He absolutely loves it. All the staffs are amazing. He is attending both ABA Program and Speech Therapy. Initially they had only ABA service. And later they had started Speech Therapy as well and we were so thankful because it makes our life easy to have all the service in one place. It helps to work as a team and everyone work on the common goal. Amy Lee(Director/Owner) is amazing and lucky to be part of Rise With ABA Family. We get constant communication on the program, get videos and pictures what is happening during ABA/Speech Therapy. Amy always on constant communication with us and work out the schedule challenges if any. She makes sure that my son gets the best support. Also we have regular Parent meeting with BCBA to review my son's progress, behavior issues and challenges and gets input how to handle new behavior issues and add/modify the goal as needed. Gets update from staff every day when we pick up my son and they explain what they had done and they go through it in detail. I trust and know my son is in great hands while he is there. This is the best place if you are looking for a service to your kids. Just go for it."
