"Make sure you have all information available and that it’s uploaded correctly to their website (not sure how you will be able to verify this) or you’ll need to pay out of pocket. I filled out paperwork and then had to follow up 2 weeks later to get someone to talk to me. I gave them all our info, filled out all paperwork and even though they can look up your insurance benefits and eligibility, they won’t do that bc it’s not THEIR process. So you could get a call an hour before your appointment that you scheduled a week ago to let you know you were lucky billing was able to get to your file before your appointment to find this information out. THEY HAD WEEKS TO LOOK ALL OF THIS OVER. I was sympathetic that i called the week after Christmas to speak to someone and see where they were on our paperwork (my son’s file was never passed to the correct desk for starters and they had no idea i had even filled out paperwork weeks before) and gave them until after the 1st to get us set up, totally get it. But the 2 weeks before Christmas and then the 3 days after the new year…? What happened there? I’d highly suggest you focus YOUR processes to be client beneficial."
