"This is the WORST medical office I have ever dealt with. The sad part is that my counselor is GEEAT, but trying to get in contact with her is almost IMPOSSIBLE. It seems as though the front office never answers the phone!!! You can try EVERY option and still not get a LIVE person. Oh, and the funniest part is the message that says they will get back with in 24 hours!!! I dont know what kind of time they are using , but its NEVER 24 hours. Heaven forbid you accidentally miss making and appointment and run out of your medication...you will NOT speak with anyone promptly. I hope you never have a life and death situation, because you will get no timely help from these people up front...TERRIBLE...GO SOMEWHERE ELSE THAT ACTUALLY CARES ABOUT YOUR MENTAL HEALTH."
"MELISSA, the receptionist, is the most unprofessional employee I have ever come across. She is hostile and combative. She is not a healthcare provider, yet has given inappropriate medical advice to mentally ill patients which is medical negligence. She also lies and pretended to impersonate another office staff member. She puts people on hold without asking them. She also hangs up on patients, customers, and anyone who wants to speak to anyone other than her. She will not provide any information for any other contacts in the office. There is no answer in any of their departments. DO NOT GO TO "COUNSELING CENTER" as we do not know if it's even a real place. Read the other review about her. She is HORRIBLE."
"To be clear, the practitioners at this office are very skilled and I would recommend them on a personal basis. However, the office staff, specifically the front desk secretary named Melissa, is incredibly inept, rude, and belligerent. When I went to try to and clear up a problem involving my prescriptions getting sent to my pharmacy correctly (I use express scripts) she initially refused to fax them in, claiming she "did not have to time to look up fax numbers for individual patients" and that I should "just mail it in because it's your responsibility." I have been going to see my psychiatrist here for a number of years and I have always had my prescriptions faxed to my pharmacy, especially considering I cannot do that myself, so all of that information is in my file already. When I tried to explain this to her she got even more upset and began to argue with me that she had neither the time nor the implied patients to do something as simple as open my file and check, something I had assumed she had done several dozen times at this point but I could be mistaken and it could have been another office member sending in my prescriptions this entire time. Continuing to badger me and avoid the question of whether she would fax in my prescriptions, she implied that by the time she sent them in they would be expired and that I would need to pay to get new ones filled (something I've never had to do before) and if I had a problem with that I should make an appointment with my doctor, even though my doctor is not the one that sends in my scripts, and then demanded that I leave immediately. When I firmly said that I would not until I had confirmation that she would send in my perscriptions she began to scream at me and threatened to call the police several times, which she thankfully did not actually do, she then said that she would send them in with the same semi-veiled threat as before. Considering she was doing this all in front of another patient I decided to leave, but now I will have to keep a close eye on my prescriptions to make sure they get sent in on time if at all, again something I have not had to do in the years of going to this office. Suffice to say that this was an incredibly unpleasant experience, and while I have had to deal with this particular secretary in the past, and it has never been what I would categorize as good, I would firmly put this interaction in the terrible category. I am unsure if she is on drugs or is simply a radically unstable person, but either way I feel the office as a whole could only benefit from her absence. In short, the doctors here are very good and I would give this office a 5 star rating if it weren't for the fact that the main front desk secretary Melissa is both incompetent, and apparently more than comfortable screaming at and threatening to call the police on patients for having a disagreement and asking her to do her job."
