"UPDATE: the office manager called me and was even more insensitive than the staff. He basically told me that there was nothing they could do regarding the fee because their clinicians "had to be compensated" and that cost of living was calculated into that and suggested that other cities with lower cost of living would have cheaper pricing, basically suggesting we had to go out of town for affordable care. I then asked him what else we could do and he suggested that I get a care credit card. A credit card. To afford treatment. This just made me MORE upset and more angry. ORIGINAL REVIEW: absolutely disappointed in this clinic. we have been seeing a therapist at the Callaghan location for quite some time now, who has been AMAZING, but we needed further evaluation. We were pointed to the provider at this location. we made the necessary appointments and filled out paperwork, etc. the day of the appointment, we checked in, and were told we owed the full balance before receiving testing. the balance was a whopping $700. the office staff's defense for it was "well, we sent the email with the cost estimate". they did not. i checked all over my email, had dad check his emails, nothing. but regardless of that, we still would not have been able to afford that. and that cost was AFTER insurance payments. i asked them about what we can do to afford this, they offered to reschedule in three weeks. THREE WEEKS. to come up with money i DO NOT have. they were not empathetic or sympathetic. any question i asked was replied with "we sent the email". they cared more about getting their money than they did about how i felt, my daughter felt, the necessary treatment my daughter NEEDS. nothing. just kept repeating the email was sent. this infuriated me to no end. they did not offer any kind of assistance, advice, grants or programs, insurance assistance, nothing. they just wanted the money. we will NEVER be coming back to this greedy establishment. so now we are back at square one for a CHILD who needs treatment. it is absolutely insane how little they cared about us, and how much they cared about their precious email. they did not care that both my daughter and i were crying. they did not care that i am a single mother already struggling. they did not care that i can not afford their insane price. they do not care about anything except money. if i could give 0 stars, i absolutely would."
"Victoria Hernandez was very nice for medication management, prompt with prescriptions, caring, knowledgeable, responsive to questions outside of appointments, my only complaint is we were not told up front she could not prescribe stimulants for adhd. We were only told that later on and it took weeks to get referred to the MD that could prescribe after non stimulants did not work. If not for this we would have gladly stayed with her as our provider. We liked the Westover office."
