"The lady who answered the phone was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL when I called because I had a question about my appointment. She gave me an attitude right off the bat and made me feel degraded because I could not find the building, and messed up with my paperwork (which they never sent to me in the first place, I checked all my folders and other emails), then she continued to blame me for the fact it was never given to me in the first place. In a field like this acting or talking to a patient like she did me is a way to be fired and created a bad reputation for the business she is representing."

"Dr. Emick has helped me change my life for the better in ways I can’t hope to describe. Her insight, patience, and timing have been crucial for me in my journey to mental wellness. I have plenty more to learn and I’m sure I have more work, conversations, sessions, and experience in life ahead of me, but I’m constantly growing and learning day by day. When I look back on my first visit with her to my most recent, I hardly recognize the person I was then. I’m fortunate to have found her because I know the work we’ve done together has made me a better person, mother, wife, daughter, sister and professional too. The office very courteous and communicative, using technology that’s user friendly and she has excellent resources on her website. I’ve always appreciated the consistency of our scheduled time together. She’s responsive to messages if I had to send any through the portal. She has a way using stories to relate to situations in my life that are relatable and honest. I’d highly recommend her. Plus her therapy dogs are about the best things since sliced bread. Love them."

"Doesn't believe that adults need help scheduling appointments over the phone. She told me I was a teenager because I couldn't make my own appointment by myself....I am 18 years old with social anxiety disorder...if it were possible to leave zero stars I would."

"First things first. I sought treatment here because I'm a mental mess. I came here for my appointment today which has been one of the worst days of my life. Dr. Emick refused to see me because I didn't have the paperwork ready prior to the appointment. My printer isn't working so I figured I would fill it out when I got there. I mean, that's what I've done at every other place in that situation. Despite me being in tears and on the verge of suicide Dr. Emick would not see me because the paper work would've made me 15 minutes late for my appointment. I'm at my rock bottom emotionally right now and really wasn't expecting to be treated so coldly by someone in this field. People reading this review, ask yourself, "Do I want a person who treats people like this helping me with my personal issues?""
