"All My Sons charged $4,000 for a same zip code move where they were hired to pack up my 2 bedroom apartment and small storage unit (down the hall, on the same floor) and move my stuff to another apartment, 3 minutes away. Three movers arrived around 7:45am and were still packing up my old apartment around 3:45pm, at which point they called two more of their guys because I was getting very concerned at $200/hr how long it was taking. Many of my things in my office and storage unit had already been packed before they got there, and despite the fact I was paying them to do the packing as well as the move, I was working alongside them the entire time. A friend came to help around 3:45pm because she knew they were charging a fortune and couldn’t believe how long it was taking! We finally arrived at my new place around 6:00pm at which point they made me sign a bunch of forms and speak to their boss who told me I needed to pay with a credit card over the phone before they would complete the job. I thought this was extremely bizarre to make me do before the job was completed and terribly unethical but they told me their office was closing and they wouldn’t continue unless I signed these forms and paid. I was totally exhausted after being on my feet since 7:45 am and I was just desperate for them to finish the job, so I had no choice. I never could have imagined what happened next! They were completely disorganized and kept asking me which boxes went where as they had jumbled them all together and had no idea which ones had been taken from which room. So in addition to it taking way more hours than it should have, I now had to waste so much time figuring out the boxes that I had trusted them to appropriately mark from each respective room and place in their truck in an organized fashion so they would know where each box went, once unloaded.  Then to our utter horror, at 10pm they announced they were leaving. They left tons of stuff outside the elevator down the hall from my apartment and a ton of stuff in the loading dock! Despite our begging them to stay and help us, they left. When I asked them to please call their boss because I couldn’t fathom a company would be okay allowing their employees to leave a job unfinished, they told us their boss left hours ago and there was no one to call. Given we had absolutely no choice, my friend (70 yrs old) and I (58 yrs old) made our way down to the loading dock at 10pm where to our absolute shock, we found a ton of heavy items, including two tall, awkward metal storage shelves and lots of heavy furniture and boxes!! Without a dolly or anything, my friend and I had to transfer all those heavy items that were left in the loading dock to either my apartment or my storage unit on a different floor. We had to drag or carry the furniture and boxes and shelving units across the parking garage all the way to the apartment exterior door and onto the elevator. Once off the elevator, we found my new storage unit completely empty. They had not moved one single thing into it! My friend has back problems and I have a hernia and can’t lift heavy items. We had to make about 10-12 trips back and forth from the loading dock to my storage unit and/or apt and didn’t finish moving everything until 1:40am. This incredible nightmare defeated the entire purpose of hiring AMS movers to do the packing and caused me more pain, stress and exhaustion than if I had just done the job myself. Wish I had found the Trust Pilot website before hiring All My Sons, as the 1200 reviews amounting to an average of a 1.6 rating would’ve told me all I needed to know. It’s one thing to charge such an exorbitant rate for a job that any other moving company could have completed in less than half the time, but regardless of price, if a job is not completed, a total refund is in order! Because of all the heavy lifting I was forced to do, it’s very likely now I’ll have to have my hernia repaired. This experience using All My Sons movers was one of the most stressful, upsetting and exhausting experiences I have ever had! :("

"So this was my 1st time hiring movers. Not going to lie, I was extremely disorganized. I’m used to the men in my family moving me. These guys (Ferrell and another young gentleman) were Efficient; even in the chaos. They were friendly, supportive and professional. Kudos to them. In all fairness to this review, I would say that the prices are quite high so be prepared for any mishaps because time and expense add up QUICKLY. Also, there seems to be a bit of a communication issue between phone reps. otherwise stellar job."

"I wanted to give the highest praise I could ever give to Jose ,Charles, and Ramos. I’ve been living in apartments for the past 10 years and no one has moved as fast as the before mention workers. They’re the nicest, most efficient people I’ve ever seen as far as moving goes. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the work they’ve done today. I would recommend these guys to anyone. Whenever, I end up moving again would like to specifically ask for these guys. Thank you All My Sons for sending these guys to me they’re truly the best!"

"Title: Disappointing Experience - One Star I recently had the unfortunate experience of using All my sons] for the second time, and I must say that I was incredibly disappointed. While my previous encounter with them resulted in a satisfactory five-star service, this time around, it was nothing short of a disaster. The first major concern was the significant price increase. I was shocked to discover that the cost had doubled compared to my previous move. In fact, on one particular day, the company charged me over $3000, which was absolutely exorbitant for the services rendered. To make matters worse, the three employees who were responsible for the move seemed disinterested and unmotivated. It was clear that one of them was not happy being there, as their demeanor and lack of enthusiasm was reflected in their work. They simply haphazardly threw our belongings into boxes without any care or attention to detail. As a result of their careless approach, several items were broken during the process. Additionally, the employees complained about taking our belongings up to the bedroom, which was part of their responsibility. It was unprofessional and not the level of service we had expected or paid for. To add insult to injury, the employees also went as far as requesting tips from us. Despite their poor performance, we reluctantly paid them, but their attitude and behavior were highly unprofessional. Unfortunately, based on this subpar experience, we have no intention of using my sons again in the future. The way our belongings were treated, with little regard for their safety, coupled with the significant price increase, has left us extremely dissatisfied. Our previous move with them was completed perfectly and at a much more reasonable cost, which only highlights the decline in their service quality."
