From the Better Business Bureau site: "Total Closed Complaints 27 Additional Complaint Information According to BBB records, consumer complaints allege Carriers 4 Less and its affiliated entities accepts deposits and payments for arranging automobile transport and shipping but fails to fulfill any type of transportation service to its customers. Furthermore, consumer complaints allege that once funds have been wired or mailed to the company and its owner, Carlos Catala, Mr. Catala no longer responds to customers’ attempts to arrange transportation. On April 3, 2014 the BBB notified Carriers 4 Less of its complaint pattern and requested the company to provide a response and plan of action to eliminate the pattern. Mr. Catala responded to the BBB stating the following, "I am a Freight Broker. In compliance with all federal and local law. Customers sign a contract, my fee is non-refundable. I hire trucking company to transport. If the carrier doesnt fulfill for what ever the reason that is between the carrier and the customer. As to the BBB, i really dont care. I am on 37 different review sites with an over all positive reviews. And less then 20 negative reviews in 2 years. Ya if you consider this a pattern your fullish. But that is your option. I respond to every BBB report even when i'm not accredited with you all. And honestly according to my attorney that represents all of my companies, i have not broken any law of any kind. In fact last year i won 3 judgments that i filled aginst people putting negative reviews online about my company when infact they never hired me. So please dont waste my time. If you need something just get to the point."""
