"When I need help with my mental health, I was able to see someone immediately and things are going amazingly. I have no doubt that A New Day Clinic is going to help this community in a big way when either word gets out or they are promoting their services."
"If you are considering working here, don't! This place does not have an organization in working in the adolescent group homes at all! The only fun part about working in the adolescent group home was the clients. Also, if you do work here, don't volunteer to pick up any shifts. Once you do, they'll ask you to switch your schedule. Only giving it two starts because the clients help make the job rewarding."
"I missed 3 appointments with my med provider. So now i can't see someone for a year for meds. A bit extreme don't you think. And a bit dangerous dont you think. So you stop someone's meds . That's pretty dangerous when youre dealing with psych meds. You're setting your organization up for a lawsuit. But it's ok when u cancel. Or i have to wait because youre running late. Perhaps i should demand a refund when those situations happen. Am posting this to facebook. I'll be switching to Crescent."
"They treat their clients terribly. All you are is a number to them. I called to schedule services and the lady at the front desk told me because of 2 no call no shows that I couldn't be seen. I had those no call no shows in the past when I was going through a difficult time. Mental health Services are supposed to support us through difficult times; not penalize us. Don't do business with staff that judge you for your mistakes or those that believe people cannot change. For for me it was a red flag when I heard that they weren't willing to schedule me. I would rather stop taking my medication then continuing to go to this place. I have some advice to save you from the hassle I went through. If you have read my review, then please don't seek mental health services at Hillcrest. You can do much better and you deserve much better treatment."
"Because they change address since I posted this review, it no longer shows. But I feel its important so I will make sure people see it. Thanks. Each time you go in its a new therapist. No one will work there for over a few months it seems. So they set you 1 month out for next appointments when it should be 4-6. They won't give you refills on meds over that 30 days so you are required to come back. Now they have you on a lottery call in system. In order to get your next appointment you gotta call in on a certain week and the first ones get appointments and the losers have to call back in 2 more weeks. Lately they changed locations and didn't care to tell me, while already having to deal with a dead battery and being stressed out trying to find the new place after finding the sign on the door, they called and started hassling me on the phone for being late. They basically told me I have 4 minutes to get there or I will need to go through the whole lottery cycle again. Considering I am being treated for anxiety, this has only made it worse. Now I don't feel comfortable going there, and will go through heavy nasty withdrawal coming off the medicine they put me on. If you are looking for mental health care, seek other care. Hillcrest will only make it worse."
