The Groom Room (under new management)

"I was a faithful customer since moving to Fort Worth. My two pups always looked good. Once the new ownership took over the price on one of my pups was raised and that would've been fine if I had been notified before her appointment. I was told when she was done that the price was now $30 more than what I usually paid. That's something I think I should've been told before hand since that's a significant raise. For me the way it was handled was also not great so since I can choose where to spend my money I have to find a new groomer."

"My 15.5 yr old pup has been taken care of by Gabrielle for sometime now. I followed her to her new business Groom Room. What a wonderful place. You can tell they simply care about your fur kid. There is no hustle and bustle, rushed feeling. One on one attention. Their business policies are spot on and foster an environment of giving all the care your pup needs for quality service. "There’s good and bad. The good is that my girl is clean and has an overall good cut. Unfortunately, the bad outweighs the good for me. I’ve been growing out my girls top knot for months and all the progress was lost when the groomer gave her “bangs”. This could totally have been a misunderstanding or a simple mistake. That being said, I don’t think it’s unreasonable to expect the expert to double check the specifications of a groom especially when they were gone over prior to the groom. What was left of her top knot was SO tight and tangled. That was really upsetting to me and there just is no excuse for that. I had to cut the band out. I’ve never had that problem when doing her hair at home so I’m guessing he did it really fast or sloppily. There were a couple other minor issues; nails not filed and I didn’t get her collar back with her (had to go back to get it). Not a huge deal but all together it made for a very unpleasant grooming experience. So, maybe not the best groomer for long haired dogs? Or maybe they just didn’t take enough time to work on her. Response to owner: My review was more than fair and I didn’t ask for a refund as the work was still done and I did not deny James the tip I was planning to give him. Given your previous responses to other critical reviews and this rather snarky response to my review I put little to no stock in what you have to say here. Your overall attitude is very off putting. Because of that, you have made this experience even worse for a potential customer. Your behavior is immature, petty, and not what I expect from a business I support. Yikes. So, enjoy your additional subtracted star. If I could give you a zero I most certainly would."

"After searching multiple grooming locations this one had a lot of great reviews and they were super friendly and easy to get my Yorkie poo Sa'miah in the same day. Thank you Alicia for her very 1st groom. It took about an hour and I was very satisfied. Nice friendly atmosphere, nice friendly staff, easy to schedule an appointment."
