"Conveniently located motel, good for an inexpensive and short-term place to rest your head, which was all I needed. No amenities (I had to borrow an iron from the front desk), and the receptionist acted like she was doing ME a favor by checking me in, but if you just need a cheap place to crash for the night, this will be fine. My room was spotlessly clean."

"I stay here a few times of yr when doing work related events. I normally have a good experience. This time left me a bit disappointed. I was placed on second floor all the way on other side of hotel. I get in the elevator to then find that it is out of service. I have to make two long trips back up to room. I needed ice and then go to find ice machine on floor is broken. Back to going downstairs. Then around 11pm or so I receive a call asking if I took a shower. I'm like um what. Then she says it's front desk and room underneath leaking water. While I hadn't showered yet and my toliet wasn't running. Absolutely no water in or anything leaking in bathroom. She hung up on me and I called back to make sure I could shower. Well there went my bath plans and I showered quicker cause was afraid something might leak. Nothing did though. I found a few old crackers in my bedsheets too. I'm not one to complain unless necessary. I didn't say anything when I checked out. Not the lady at desks fault. However, room was still 73 dollars and you don't even get shampoo so enjoying stay is nice. I usually do get good service and rooms though so will still probably stay there. Just wanted to say a few things. Thank you."

"Please do not waste your time and money at this hotel. When you check in they don’t ask you names of your guests yet when your husband gets locked out of the room in middle of the night with your dog (it is dog friendly hotel) and neither of the room keys works they refuse to help because his name isn’t on their paperwork, they told him to wake up his wife and 6 months old baby in the room by knocking or kicking the door instead (no care about waking the other guests of hotel in the process either?). The room is small and very old, not clean (human hair around toilet, blood spots in sink, smells like urine and mold, whole hotel smells like cigarettes). They give you two very flat and small pillows for 2 people on king size bed, there is human hair, dust and dirt around the mattress (on the bed base) the controller for the TV didn’t work and the replacement we were given also didn’t work.When you go take care of the key problem in the morning they tell you it is your fault because you must had put them next to your phone and it erased the key card data, yet the 2 new keys works only on 15th tried to open the door and they refuse there is problem with the door. The man who walks around with the cleaning lady will refuse to say good morning back to you if you are woman yet if your husband shows up behind you, he will respond to him right the way. If it wasn’t in middle of night in freezing winter with 6 month old baby and dog with us I would had left the same night. This was our second stay and the first one in 2019 was nothing like this. Go to La Quinta in Gurnee, you will get bigger room with dresser, closet, fridge, microwave, coffee maker and bigger bathroom for basically the same price and breakfast is INCLUDED there, everything is clean, you get free hygiene products and they are friendly. It was very bad stay for us, not going through it again."

"Office staff were very nice and welcoming. We were up for Navy graduation and we’re late booking but we found this close to other family members hotel that was booked. Some of the reviews weren’t too nice, but we were willing to give it a chance. Yes, it’s an older place, but the room was very clean and comfortable. Air was cold and it looked like it had new vinyl flooring. Basic rooms, but that’s ok, we were only sleeping there. They provided extra pillows and towels when we asked with a smile.Nights we’re quiet. Close to lots of good restaurants."
