"That is a very horrible place to take your kids. Staff that are working. There are not friendly at all. They’re always mean and never helpful. It seems like they’re just earn a paycheck. I do not recommend taking your kids to this location…"
"This is a horrible place to take your kids too! The doctors are arrogant and will make you wait to see them 30 mins plus but when you are running late they cannot wait at all. The staff does not communicate well with each other as well along with their prices are outrageous and your not getting any more than an expensive visit with drs who don’t care about your kids! It used to be Better but every year the quality of doctors has gone down! Now you’re just paying for their expensive building but you get nothing more."
"I am so happy they opened this location. Calm and quiet waiting room. Front desk staff is lovely and I have never had to wait more than 5 minutes past appointment time to be escorted back to patient room. Lots of parking as well. Unfortunately less flexibility with urgent care appointments than Glenview or Halsted sites."
"Families, please be aware of outrageous charges! I DO NOT recommend this hospital for any services. I received two separate bills months after my child’s outpatient visit - $157 for the hospital and $168 for the physician’s office. That is a total of $325 just for a basic follow-up checkup AFTER insurance coverage, no special treatment was performed whatsoever. The hospital did not inform me of the separate charges beforehand. When I inquired about the two bills, I was told that the hospital bills separately for facility use, the charge is not including the physician’s service charge. Basically, we were expected to pay $168 out of pocket for the physician to look at my child’s ankle for about 5 minutes and extra $157 for the room we briefly stayed in. The lack of transparency on billing and charges made me lose trust and business interest in Lurie Children’s Hospitals completely. The unreasonable amount of out of pocket charges do not manifest the focus they claimed to have on the children, their focus is rather about building a healthcare empire that does not align with ordinary families’s best interest, ripping families off in the name of children. Will avoid Lurie Children’s Hospitals at all costs in the future."
"Its a children’s hospital. I don’t understand the nurses. How could they have manicure nails when they have to put a needle in a baby’s arm? The standards are not even met and the nurse who drew blood from my baby couldn’t find the vein and kept moving the needle around in my baby’s arm. She was crying out in pain and all I could do was tell her to not be so rough. In the end, my baby had to get another needle in her other arm to draw blood. Even then she also probed the needle in her arm and moved it around to find the vein. If she wants to have manicure nails its not a problem but if she is going to treat young kids and babies then she should be careful and at least have the mentality to properly treat the babies."
