"I sadly have been with this office specifically for awhile now. The Two main ladies who sit behind the glass, Are really rude and very ignorant. They make people really uncomfortable and have people discussing personal and serious information. I explained why I was unable to get a new ID, I was being abused. And they told me being abused doesn't prevent someone from going to the dmv. They wouldn't give me my link card and I ended up having it mailed anyways. Two different managers have spoken to me becauae the women up front are rude and disrespectful and they've been reported. People's cases get at stalled because basic English isn't being understood and information in the computers are being entered wrong. I never have seen a case manager ever. Just spoken."
"Why, why, why are you located on a side street with zero parking near building, where do you suggest handicap ppl park? Ridiculous! Not to mention the horrific roads in that area!"
"Among the flyers for government resources, you will find ads for a fake pregnancy clinic. This is illegal in a state-owned building."
"The phones are not answered. I don't mean rarely. They are NOT answered by a person. DON'T leave a message. Those are only for people who have already been contacted for an appointment for LINK interviews. When you go into the office, make sure you plan on at least two hours. The actual case workers are only there from 10:00 to 3:00, so even though the office is open, you can't talk to anyone except between those hours. The make no accomodations for any disabilities, so as I am on oxygen and can't stand for long, I have to make sure I have at least 3 hours of oxygen, and have a walker or wheelchair as it is first come, first served, in a line, not by taking numbers and having a seat. The receptionist is great, but she is just a receptionist. After you stand in line for 1-2 hours to get to her, you then go wait to see a caseworker. Try to bring any paperwork you might need, otherwise they will just send you away to come another time. Stick to your guns, though. They would rather just say you're not covered then actually look into your case."
