"I called this place by accident thinking it was where I was a patient at. Whoever does reception or answers the phone is very rude. I hope you record your calls to see how they sound and how they treat people. I feel like going in person is probably way worse. Either train your employees to be more professional and treat patients with respect or not run a business at all. With the attitude they have I’m sure a lot of patients will want to switch to different locations. There’s no need to be rude to people. Not once have I ever treated people that way in customer service even if I was having a bad day."

"Initially I was frustrated with the procedures prior to the surgery, especially the timeline they follow to send in the prescription for the pre-surgical drops. However, they went above and beyond in dealing with my insurance company for the second prescription, so I'm satisfied overall. The surgery was quick, efficient, and so far, effective. Any anxiety that I had was eased by the surgical staff and the anesthesia. My follow-ups at the local Marion Eye Center have been positive experiences as well. Overall, I give a 4.5/5."

"Well I had walked in on December 29 2023 and was rudely ask if I had appointment the lady had a attitude toward me. My mother In law had a appointment she went in first and I waited in the car then I came in to see her and that's when the lady at the front desk asked me that. I will not be bringing my family to this establishment people should feel welcomed when walking into a new place not treated disrespectful like I was a inconvenience."

"This is the most professional Marion eye center around here , I drove 45 miles and it was worth it . Dr Hocking is one of the best . Everyone there acted very friendly and professional. I would definitely recommend this center over all of them."

"My first cataract surgery appointment on 08/04/2023 at the Marion Eye Clinic in Mt. Vernon was absolutely amazing, considering the fact that I was extremely nervous and have never really liked the whole idea of having my eyes messed with. The nursing staff not only went above and beyond to ease my nervousness, but they also took the time to sincerely walk me through the whole process prepping me for the surgery. Despite the fact that it was a very busy day with getting patients in and out in a timely manner. I go back on 08/11/2023 for my second cataract surgery on my right eye and now that I know what to expect, I don't think I will be quite as nervous about the whole procedure. So 'thank you' to the Mt. Vernon Marion Eye Clinic nursing staff for making my first cataract surgery experience easier to deal with and hopefully the second one goes even smoother than the first one."
