"Finding a place for proper care doesn't have to be difficult. The patient should feel safe and cared for. My family member agrees that while they were here they felt both cared for and safe. If needed a place to come to for further rehabilitation they want to come back to Windsor. We will be back if needed. Also for those who need assurance for those caring for loved ones, The Director of Nurses made the paperwork seem flawless and took care of all of my questions and insurance information. Blessings from Gloria Nesloney."
"So grateful for Ms. Cruz Leal and staff for the excellent care of my love one. They did a great job even though I live 7 hours away. Great communication during my aunt's visit with them. Totally recommend if you are looking for a place that actually cares. Thank you so much again"
"My father fell last year May. He was very sick and was in the hospital for quite some time. Coming out, he needed more rehab and assistance before he could go home. La Paloma was highly recommended to me by many local friends. I traveled out to San Diego and walked into a clean looking and smelling facility to deem if this would be a good fit for my father. I was greeted warmly and provided a tour of this most beautiful facility that I really had no hesitancy taking my father out there for the necessary care. The professional and most caring team of administrators, nurses, and paraprofessionals took amazing care of my father that he eventually was able to go home with the plans to stay home for Christmas permanently. Unfortunately, dad came down with a severe case of pneumonia and covid nearly took my dad to meet Jesus over the Christmas holidays. Dad was admitted into Christus Alice and recovered but again, needed extended care. He was unable to go to La Paloma at discharge but I observed their staff at work and dad was soon moved at La Paloma where dad began improving once again. Our family has personally observed the facility and the staff here at the facility that remains beyond caring, compassionate and understanding. This facility has an amazing rehabilitation center with staff that can target and focus on the improvements your loved one needs. The cafeteria provides the nourishing meals that are needed for the health of your loved and allows and provides alternatives at every meal per the choice of the resident. Nurses that get to know your family member and loves them as you do giving your loved one the care they need and consistently are there for your loved one and you, the family. I can only highly recommend this center if you are needing a rehabilitation or nursing care for your family member! You won't regret having your loved one in the hands of the professional staff with a facility that is modern, clean and welcoming to all. Have questions, contact Cruz Leal, the amazing DON or business questions - contact Lydia. Feel free to talk to any of the amazing staff, Emmie, Adam, Ace, Sheila, Sandra, Amanda and so many more that I am so grateful too.........."
"I had a family request to admitted to this facility for rehab because of it's reputation. As a family member I felt welcomed to the facility and supported though a difficult time in our lives. The staff was warm , compassionate and encouraging of my family member's journey to recovery. He left with a sense of autonomy and rejuvenated on his path to being stronger and healthier. Thank you to Windsor staff especially to the many to personally went of thier way to make us feel empowered and supported. Pricilla Chapa ST who's postive attitude was a bright spot in our day and her manager Ronnie. Dorothy Vela PTA who engaged my family in conversation and kept him engaged throughout difficult tasks. As well as Karlene OT Ashley Silva RN and Katie Chapa. To Cruz Rn who kept my family in the loop and advocated for my family with compassion and care. Placing a loved one in a facility will never be an easy endeavor. As a person familiar with the struggles that face a recovering pt, a family member and the health care system I can genuinely say that Windsor navigates these well to provide quality care."
