"Very upsetting knowing my sister is struggling and need help with food for her and her children. The attitude one of the men gave her was not what my sister was expecting. Weather he was working or Volunteering to help others he was very rude. He was acting like the food he was helping my sister with was coming out of his bank account. It made my sister feel bad maybe it was because she was Mexican. They need to find better volunteers or employed some that actually want to help others"

"I am currently have a serious crisis in my life right now. I called Bridgeway and the person I talked to there said the Salvation Army crisis line could probably help more than they could and they gave me the number. I called before 5pm and the message I got from their line said something about the user being offline? Googled it to make sure... why is there a crisis line to a phone that is only active twice a week for a few hours a day? I couldn't even leave a message! Anyone know where I can go with my cat tomorrow morning until I can get another room in Galesburg on Sunday afternoon? I have no place to go and my car is on fumes."

I got the chance to help with a small part of the Angel Tree gift bags and I hope I get the chance to help in the future! It was so much fun and they were so organized and knew what they needed to do and worked so well together, they made it look effortless! If you are able they are always accepting donations of nonperi shables for the food pantry!"
