"Things were okay for the first few weeks, then he got comfortable and crossed a line questioning our pediatricians and psychiatrists united decisions. He was supposed to be there to help counsel our child, not make us feel ashamed simply because we agreed with the medical professionals and he didn't. He was condescending to a whole different level, as if me not having a degree gave him the final word on even trivial things such as the proper way to go to a gym during COVID. Dude, no one cares about your OPINION so stop trying to make others feel like they're wrong if they don't see things as you do."
"I saw Mr. Montez for a couple years and he helped me tremendously. I fell into post-partum depression after my second child and initially did not even recognize I had depression. Through therapy, I was able to be more open and understanding specially with myself. I am a much happier person and a better mother, wife and daughter. I have seen other therapists for marriage counseling and during a brief time while doing group therapy but no one has really been able to help me like Mr. Montez. I will be eternally grateful."
"Received a disturbing call from this individual this morning to my work place.. First he said he received a phone call from my office which I know he never did, secondly asked were he was calling, to which I replied, thop, he asked East or west campus? Which I replied East, then he said ok thank you Margie... which puzzled me because I not once mentioned my name... I have reported this to security and to law enforcement. Jorge montes, if u have questions you can ask me, that was highly suspicious to what ur motive is."
"My child only saw Mr Montes twice. The issue was that the school was requesting a schedule of Future sessions (even if it changed down the line) in order for his early releases to no effect his attendance. Basically it would count as a full day of instruction rather than excused. Mr Montes refused to give any type of letter and schedule even after we stated how it would benefit all parties. He flat out said F the school, they're just nosey and for us to find another counselor. He was rude and didn't do anything in the two sessions to help our child. What he asked of us was already what we had at home. It was a waste of time that my child could've spent with a professional that was out for our child's best interest. I would never recommend his services and will be making a complaint."
