"Been impossible to start services! They text to set appointments and say things like “next Thursday at 12pm” and call that Thursday at 1pm! I ask for specific dates when they always text to cancel and get no response! Been 2 months with canceling and re scheduling and still haven’t even had my daughters 1st session!!"
"Our experience with Ms. Monty has been life changing! She takes time to listen to my daughter and has taught her skills for managing her anxiety and thinking more positively. Ms. Monty is a caring, patient, and supportive therapist."
"I first saw Ms. Monty 10 years ago when I was 21 and going through some tough times with my mom. Of course when you're 21 and being told to go to therapy you don't want to go. Fast forward to pre covid, I found myself in a place that I knew I need help getting through, and I remembered Ms. Monty, so I made an appointment with her rather than try and find a new therapist. She has always been very supportive and understanding of everything I've been going through. She makes sure to keep up to date with any new medications or treatments my PCP prescribes. I truly appreciate all the help she's given me these last 2 years, I find myself having more good days than bad, and if I ever need a quick appointment the office staff and Ms. Monty do their best to fit me in."
"I started therapy with Ms. Monty in March 2019. She was the most understanding, patient and genuine therapist I have ever had. She helped me reach my career goals, I am now in grad school getting my MBA. Here in El Paso there is a big stigma about mental health. So, Ms. Monty's modern and common sense technique opened my eyes to the greater truth of ADHD."
"I had decided to schedule an appointment with 2030 Life Skills for my son. Everything sounded good when scheduling the first appointment. Due to the virus, we had to do an online session with Esther Monty. During the fist appointment, she spoke with me and my son and asked us general questions about my pregnancy with him and problems we'd been having. At the end of the appointment she diagnosed him with ADHD, mild depression, and another problem I cannot recall. He wasn't given any testing and the questions were very general, does he like school, reading, etc. She recommended a psychologist and medication. During the session, she also kept calling him Cesar, but that isn't his name. We set up a plan and I refused medication. For our second visit, I could not login to the appointment because it wasn't available. I called and Sarah said she'd call back. Instead, some lady called saying she was the assistant. I could barely understand her broken English. Turns out they had never sent me the right link. Apparently 2030 and Esther Monty have their own login requirements. No one informed me of this. I had to register all over again and fill out forms. Then Ms. Monty told me I'd need to be present for the appointment even though she asked to speak to my son alone. She told me to call her back and she would answer, but she called private. I called 2030 six or seven times with no answer. Sarah didn't answer any of my calls and never returned the call she said she'd return. I've decided to cancel the appointment and go elsewhere for my son's counseling due to lack the of communication I experienced. Take care of your children and don't always go for the drugs they are so quick to recommend. Good luck to anyone looking for help!"
