"Nice little stop! If you are looking for a nice pit stop or a nice park you can explore in under an hour, then this is your place! It was so fun seeing the Kilns up close and personal. They even had a nice step so you can peer in from the top one one. It would be nice if there was just a little more infrastructure and investment from the community in this historical site, but otherwise a great little tourist road trip destination to stretch your legs."
"It is fantastic they saved something from 1849. For Iowa, that is very old and rare it is still standing. Fun fast stop."
"Great roadside attraction - good location, easily accessible (right of the main rd). Perfect place to learn a bit and stretch you legs."
"Little hidden Gem. Has a picnic area with a bench and picnic table. There needs to be a trashcan at this place though. I would have loved to clear out the cigarette butts and empty booze bottles. Beside the lack of trashcan, if you're in the area, go check it out!!!"
