"Ordered a new couch on April 22. We were told 8-12 weeks as it was a custom piece. No problem. We expected that. What I didn't expect was 19 weeks later to STILL be waiting for our couch and to have a delivery date set. I received an initial call telling me it would be June. Then I received a call on that date telling me it would be July. Then I received a call telling me it would be August....but no date was given. The salesperson was lovely, but I could have had a comparable couch delivered by now from many other retailers."

"I went July 2021 to buy a new bed, they told me it would be delivered by September 27 a week passed by and I called to ask why I haven’t received anything they told me It would take an additional month..I was never updated on this! However I was fine with it bc I understand with COVID a lot of things are backed up! It’s January and my bed BROKE! how is it possible? Like I understand sometimes beds break but to this extreme like this? Plus it looks like drywalls screws were used to assemble this bed and they weren’t even long enough to hold the other sides of the wood.. DO NOT BUY FROM ROOM PLACE!"

"UPDATE: waited 4 months for this couch, it was brought upstairs, they couldn't fit it through my door. I asked if this happens a lot, the movers laughed and said yes. I lost my $75 delivery fee. RoomPlace asked if I wanted to pick out another couch, I says I don't have another four months to wait. They wouldn't work with me. They looked at me like I was stupid - I know nothing about couch sizes or measurements - they basically blamed me for not knowing anything. Will never go back, and will not recommend this place to anyone. -------------------------------- This the first time I stepped into the RoomPlace, what a nice store! I need a couch and a bed, so I thought I'd stop here. They have a nice selection, decently priced. Salesman Bill was super helpful, knowledgeable and nice. I got his business card I will return when I move and will buy these items."
