"God forbid they mess up your schedule, like Glasper did mine.Got stuck in the wrong class( one class I didn't sign up for and one for the wrong period) last year and again my senior year(currently). They didn't allow me late arrival depite only needing credits for my core classes and now I'm ineligible because of excessive tardies. The Alegbra and math teachers in general are unless(except Mr.Evans) and a majority of the students are struggling and cheating to get by in those classes. Last but not least, teachers focus more on dress code than students learning as if they don't pass by numerous assistant principals while entering the building and before making it to class."
"This is honestly the WORST school you could ever go to the principal sucks she honestly doesn't know what she's doingand I had my daughter in the daycare and some of my friends that worked in the daycare told me that when the ladies put their hands on my daughter. I would not recommend taking your children to this School there are several fights there were gun threats we went on lockdown for about a month the teachers won't let you go to the bathroom they won't let you do anything the teachers don't know how to teach and honestly The only teachers that know how to teach there is Mrs. Johnson which is honestly my favorite teacher she helped me pass. Mr. Thomas was pretty cool Ms.Bynum was also one of my favorite teachers and Mr. clothes I had him for one year but they fired him what I'm trying to say is do Not go to this school"
"I fought with the district to allow me to transfer my son. Not happening. BUT, the school isn't as bad as it has been in previous yrs. Now with the new CyPark taking alot of the troubled neighborhoods, it will only be better."
"So many things wrong with this school, inside and out, I've never been In a school with so many morons, and in not talking about the students, I'm also talking about the staff and the assistant principals. I see kids getting bullied everyday, I see drug dealers selling weed in lunch and in the restrooms, I see fights almost twice a week in the cafeteria, I see teachers not even helping there students, if a teacher knows that a student is lacking of there work, they don't even bother helping them, and the teachers pretends to be "nice" and "best teacher" when the district comes to check on them. This school is beyond ghetto with too many idiots sagging and here them cussing with there teachers. Terrible school."
"The staff at this school is rude. Especially the attendance office. The lack of communication between the counselors and VP's and Principals is ridiculous. I have never seen a school where it seems like "the blind leading the blind". Not only are there drugs being sold in the cafeteria during lunch time but there is constant fighting. Constant bullying. When my daughter was transferred to this school from the JR high right beside it (Hopper Middle School) they put her in a Sophomore Geometry class instead of Algebra 1 "standard class for Freshman". Even though she passed Geometry and all of her other classes they still would not promote her or pay for Summer school for her to take the Algebra I class that she needed to be promoted. They said it was against District Policy however, the responsibility rested solely on our heads to correct THEIR error. After a month of hearing this and arguing that even though this is District policy you are the one's who miss placed her. They finally agreed for her to take Summer School and they would pay or they would promote her as a Sophomore and just let her take the Algebra I class as a Sophomore. How this conclusion was not reached within the first few weeks is beyond me. This took a month if not longer of arguing with counselors and Asst. Principals to finally get this result. HORRIBLE SCHOOL!!!!!"
