"Overall, the facility looks great. Love the way they decorate for the Holidays, makes the patients feel at home. Miranda, has been the BEST! She always goes above and beyond for her patients, the activities she does with them is great. We love her attitude. The facility is blessed to have her. Great job, Miranda!"
"I can honestly say it was the most comforting n assured process we have ever faced in such a scary and confusing situation that took place with our mom ,,, who has dementia n other health problems. From Becky taking the time to visit with us and explaining the process before admission and . Not only that ,,, shared past experiences and concerns that other families had ,, with us aswell. Sharing her personal phone for any questions cuz she empathized with what we were feeling with so many questions that would pop up at any moment. To Belinda closing up the process and making things understandable to our knowledge in what to expect during our moms stay…clarifying all paper work and what everything exactly meant ! the comfort they gave us can never be repayable but we are grateful for their team work n compassion for all the patients and families!"
"My grandmother is having to stay there for a short stay while she gets strong enough to return home. She has been calling me just about every day upset. She loves the physical therapy team and an aid named Jasmine. I’m grateful for those individuals taking care of her. One of her biggest complaints is the food, lack of help when she needs to get up or be changed since they won’t allow her to use a bedside commode or go to the restroom. She is sound mind with no issues of cognitive deficits so she is frustrated by the treatment she receives. I hope the staff can learn to be kind and not treat every elderly person like they are a burden. I am aware that food budgets for nursing homes is extremely low so quality of food will be terrible but delivering it hot or at least warm would help. There is a reason that nursing homes have a terrible stigma but unfortunately places like this continue to reinforce peoples fears of being in one."
"Wow the absolute worst place to be cared for. My mother was placed at this facility for 21 days and couldn’t take it anymore so we transferred her else where . When she would press the emergency button it would take at least 45 minutes for someone come and check on her. I would have continuously ask for meds and make sure the bathed my mother. My mother also said she didn’t feel safe at night and didn’t feel cared for. To top it off when we finally got a transferred the staff tried pressuring her to stay and that she shouldn’t listen to her children that we didn’t want was in her best interest."
