"ISchool High of Lewisville - Entrepreneurial Academy has been such a blessing for my son and our family. The teachers are very committed to each student's success and they truly care about the students as individuals. They have created a nurturing atmosphere for the students to learn and thrive in. My son had an excellent year using the new academic program and he can't wait to finish his final high school years there."
"seeing all these negative reviews from before ( the other school before us) makes me so mad!!! This school is new and a bit wild at times, but is an incredibly pleasant experience for any newcomers or just someone who wants to get their work done. They also also help with college readiness, dual credit, and other businesses. The teachers here are amazing at what they do. They know what they are doing , and are incredibly patient with every child. Btw, i am a student here and I know what I'm saying! Ischool is a small, but kind and meaningful school that I really hope will get more attention! ( and no more bad reviews. lol)"
"don't attend, don't let your kids attend. it's a joke. even the students who go there know that it isn't a place to get a quality education. the staff doesn't help students or parents. they don't care. i would give it 0/5 stars but google won't let me, so i have to give it 1. i'm dedicating this 1 star to myself. im grateful that i made the decision to leave ischool. i thankfully graduated from a normal public school with compassionate teachers/staff and 10x the academic opportunities than ischool ever offered."
"Student of 2016-2017 This school has changed the way me and most of peers see life. If you are trying to get a 4.0 gpa this is not the school for you, it is hell. Most teachers literally do not teach and are getting academic probation for failing half the grade. One teacher has emotional breakdowns 50% of the time and maybe 1/4 of the students have left the school. This school will make you depressed, some of my friends even go to a Psychiatrist. That is to say my friends that still are being forced to go since half have left the school. There are no sports or school events that don't include teachers breathing down your back. I didn't even start on the homework. Since you have to teach your self to do things such as programming a popsicle stick bridge to move using auduino mechanics, it will take more than ALL of your freetime. Teachers also assign homework over break even though they say they don't, so this only makes students more stressed. We had an attempted school schooting and a fire in the school the same week (thank god there is finally a cop on campus). I don't know what happened for this years administration, but it made iSchool unbearable. In conclusion unless you want to be depressed, stressed, and in living hell do not attempt iSchool. I just want future incoming freshmen and sophmores to know in case they are fooled by the school's reputation. If you think I'm just some misanthrope who is just trying to get back at the school for hating my self, just ask any other student that goes here (when the school isn't around listening to them because they might then get detention ). We have had to take multiple serveys on the school and teachers incompetence since everyone started leaving the school, which should serve as enough proof in itself. This is just a lone freshmen coming out of the dark to expose the school for what it really it and to let others beware of it before they go. And no I'm not a student that is just barely passing with C's I have one of the highest GPA's as a freshman and so do all my friends."
"iSchool High School, a STEM Academy (Science Technology Engineering Math) has been excellent for my son, who will graduate this May. It is a small school with less than 300 students. The teachers, principal Elaine Marchant, and secretary all foster and contribute to a nurturing environment based on mutual respect. It has a private school feel, at a public school price: FREE. Take a tour. See if it is a good match for your son or daughter."
