Reviews
"They think the National Anthem is a waste of time. It’s ok to spend 1 to 2 minutes singing the National Anthem, for all of the men and women that died just so we could sing that song."
"I can't believe that this school actually has a 4.3 rating on Google Reviews. All these good ratings HAS to be the staff. Frank Seale Middle School is possibly the most deplorable middle school out there, and that comes from a former student who attended this school. First of all, this school gives you the impression that it's a "friendly environment" but it's actually the exact opposite. The students are unbelievably rude and judgmental, the majority of the teachers do NOT care about their students' educations, and the principals do not do anything to make this school better. I won't individualize the teacher because that is too impertinent and inappropriate, but there is a certain reading teacher that does not teach at all. She taught us the basics(that we ALREADY KNEW) at the beginning of the year before we began to read a classic novel and after that it was just busy work. I mean seriously, we were forced to work on a project to give to the teachers and staff for teacher appreciation week rather than work on actual assignments that relates to the actual class. Oh, and this was a Pre-AP class, so I did expect more challenges. However, instead of more challenging assignments, all they did was give us more work rather than teaching us more than the regular classes. Like mentioned before, this school also has a defective Pre-AP program. I took all Pre-AP courses and when compared to regular classes, they were quite literally the same thing except we had additional work. Not to mention that this school's teachers and staff are not very friendly and usually do not care about the students. The principals are highly irritating and one of the many things that bothered me throughout this school experience was that the head principal did not allow us to sit alone in the cafeteria or bleachers in the morning. This was the worst thing ever because I did not have much friends at all so I was practically forced to sit with others that I did not want to interact with and I personally found this rule to be plain idiotic because there was no point to it. Why can't a student be alone if they want to be? Although there are a few teachers and staff members that are very good at their job and DO care about their students, the rest of them do not. The lunch ladies were friendly though and never gave me any problems so that is why I enjoyed buying my lunch whenever I forgot it at home. To make my message blatantly clear, I wouldn't recommended any parent to put their student through an insufferable three-year school experience by enrolling them at this school. The teachers do not teach, the principals are useless, and the school itself is disgusting and has roaches all over the place. If you want to enroll your student at a good school, make sure you move in an area that is near Walnut Grove Middle School. Walnut Grove was an amazing middle school and still is. I never had problems there and if it hadn't been for my relocation within Midlothian, I would have attended there for three years. The teachers there DO care, the principals are the most friendly people ever (The head principal is a very nice man and cares about his students. He also interacts with them whenever he can.), and the school is a very nice and clean environment that is NOT infested with roaches like FSMS."
