"Amazings teachers if they had snacks but not many fights in the bathrooms or halls and yall stopped serving mac and cheese man"
"They should add a Rugby team, if they do add a rugby team it'll be too late because they don't have any good islanders like Demichael. He is probably the hardest hitter in the sport of football, well I guess JOGO is pretty good too but I hit harder."
"Ladies at the front are completely rude and snooty. If you have any questions or concerns they make you feel like you're a bother. (Like calm down y'all work at a middle and it's your job so do it.)They treat the kids like prisoners. I saw the principal her self yell in front of a kids face during lunch. So sad to see this treatment since I used to be a student there."
"I am a parent of a current student, and it seems like any time I have a question or issue and call the school, it's like being passed around and transferred around to the next Joe because the previous person didn't want to deal with you. I've had to go up to school a couple of times, because one of the principals (whom I choose not to name directly, because I have respect for others ) was singling out my child for one reason or another, and treating my child unfairly. Both times I spoke with this principal face to face, she was rushing me, very rude, disrespectful, and obviously did not take my concerns seriously. I was told by another administrative rep that I should have patience with her, because she is stressed out that the STAR testing is coming up. I refuse to accept that explanation as an excuse for her behavior not only towards my child, but me. Other than that, the teachers for the most part do seem very interested in educating to the best of their abilities, and I very much appreciate that. This school also has a full time security guard, which I am very pleased with. My only other complaint about the school is the fact that they do not provide any transportation for the children that aren't labeled as"newcomers." Which from what I understand, is categorized as immigrants. This was what I was told by the transportation department. And that doesn't seem very fair to me, considering that the average age of the students in this school is between 12 & 14. The area is not the greatest, and the school is surrounded by major roads. So that's something that I would like to see change. The children should at least be bused by groups into the neighborhoods that are across major roads. All and all, the school is not bad, I have definitely seen worse, especially previously having my children in another district completely, but there certainly are improvements that could be made."
"Best school theres only fights if u get into drama and talk about peope badly and teachers are nice theres no pest problem and volleyball is the best .....classes are fun and"
