"I’ve been a parent of ILT Saginaw for over four years I had all three of my kids attending the school. I know since the pandemic had hit and affected a lot of students and schools academic wise. I eventually withdraw my two younger boys last year grades first and second due to the lack of knowledge and skills that they’ve been taught at that school when I had withdrew my students and transfer them to the school that they are attending now in fwisd the school didn’t have any records any paperwork for my boys no test work no school work nothing. In my experience, my boys were lacking the knowledge that they were supposed to be at the grade level. So pretty much my boys were behind a grade level. In my opinion, the school is very large too many students that the staff can’t even handle the school never reached out to me letting me know that my children were struggling. Unfortunately, my daughter still attend school due to this is her last year at that school (8th grade). I will never recommend the school to any other parents. When it comes to inclement weather, the school never let parents know how to drive lines going to work, so when you go to the driveline, parents are confusing at drop off. And overall I have nothing good to say about the school."

"Excellent school. My daughter is in Kindergarten and their teachers are amazing. My daughter love the school. In only three months, she started talking Spanish and identifying some Chinese animals, numbers and things. I recommend this school. Also, I am receiving notifications from the teachers almost every day and every week. The teachers text me frequently and answer my questions inmediately. We love this school."

"The communication between parents and staff is horrendous. My son has some behavioral problems, that were minor at the school he was originally at. When we transferred him to this school they became so severe that in one week he got an after school detention and a suspension....he’s in first grade. When I got him home and talked to him about what was going on, because this anger was not normal him, he revealed to me how his teacher constantly ridicules the students. She bullies them, and makes them feel bad about themselves. No child would thrive in that environment. I had my suspicions about this after some other incidents that I had brought to not only the head of the grades attention but also the principal, and nothing changed. I don’t think the teacher was even spoken to. After I spoke to him about this, I told him I would never send him back to that school and that I would transfer him back to the public school he was attending previously, he cried tears of joy. The children here are mean, at one point a little girl threw my son on the ground and beat him up and not one staff member called me or messaged me. He told me when he got home from school. Absolutely unacceptable. They have no early interventions for children falling behind and they make no efforts to assist your child if they are struggling, they just tell the child “well everyone else can understand it”. This is not a nursing environment, and not a place any child should be subjected to."

"I definitely do not recommend this school to anyone. We had a family emergency with my service animal, who I consider family because i am a purple heart veteran with injuries and he is vital for me. Because I said we have a family emergency, they would not release my son from school, even though I was there, in person, to get him. Some of their teachers are not even certified teachers. They just basically find people off the street and let them tell your kids whatever they want. If you decide to put your child in this environment, you better not have an emergency between 1500 and 1630. The person I was told to email wasnt even in the building to handle the emails. We thought we were putting our child in a better school because of the curriculum, but it seems more like a prison environment. I do not really appreciate the teachers pushing their political beliefs on my 2nd grader either. My son has been coming home saying he hates certain people without knowing anything about them, just because what he is being taught in this school."

"We had several situation that were not handled properly or professionally. To make a long story short the principal could careless about any concerns you have, she puts on a great show but when it comes down to it nothing changes. Huge communication issues between staff. Lost my daughters 504 plan and dyslexia paperwork 3 times. Lost my kindergarten twice once for almost 45 minuets and Could not located him. 5 teaches quit including my daughters homeroom teacher. Christmas programs were a disaster as well as Christmas parties. My kids were begging to go back to their old school. My son was in the hospital for a month and I requested his homework by emailing all his teachers not one teacher responded, I even called spoke with staff in front office and the lady said I will have it I had to call back 4 different times and still nothing. I finally had to rant on the fb page and had a very nice teacher request it for me. I hear killer campus is completely different."
