"My experience with the azle Jr high and rock were very mixed, but when I reached high school its so much different! The teachers are not very respectful and when I walked through the halls kids are screaming running jumping. Yet know one seems to take care of the careless acts that happen, when walking through halls or at lunch if you listen you can hear all wild things like drugs, inappropriate behavior, and Violence. Thats only a hand full of things that go on. [HIGHLY DON'T RECOMMEND AZLE HIGH SCHOOL]"
"Students and Teachers are rude, disrespectful, and seem highly uneducated. Give TX schools a bad reputation. My kids have attended schools around the country and world. They tell me this is by far the worst district. I have 2nd, 7th, 8th, and 10th graders currently attending Azle and they are very dissatisfied and disappointed. Registering them for home school right now!!"
"i was attacked 3 times during lunch in my freshman year, and the teachers did nothing about it! The teachers are so rude and make fun of short people all the time. i was forced to run around the whole school while being chased by the head coaches flea bitten dogs while he laughed and called me racial slurs. there are naughty words written all over the bathrooms in the women's restroom as well as the little boys room. the lockers have rats and bugs living in them and i tried to get one but it costs 60 dollars a month to have one. OUTRAGEOUS!! the computers have pornographic images and videos saved onto them and the floors are never clean. when i complained i was threatened with a trip to the Ministry Of Truth."
"Administration: 4 stars; very understanding and take the time to get to know the students who want to reciprocate. Teachers: 3 stars; there is nothing wrong with the teaching staff. There is also nothing right. They did not go above in beyond at any point during my two years there. Peers: The students who are around your child daily will be the worst influence on your child's life. Pregnancy and drugs are generally accepted. Many students fail to thrive after going to this highschool. I was as straight as any student could be pre-transfer from Arlington ISD. I came to azle and got involved with the wrong crowds. Luckily I entered the military and am now on my way to medical school. Stay far away from Azle and Springtown if you value your children! Go anywhere else and do not let the life long residents here fool you. They do not know the difference between Azle and a good city/town."
"I am very displeased with my experience during my attendance at this High School. Since moving to this district I have been treated unfairly, and have stood by as other students were picked on by teachers in front of the whole class. Not only did I have to deal with horrible role models within the Azle District, I also have been swayed in numerous ways since my departure from my previous school. There are multiple drug dealers within the school, and a lot of them also use this to their advantage to get "laid." A friend of mine has been poking at the fact that she will be my "first" and that everyone "does drugs" at some point. Azle does not take the time to care about the people attending the school, and only care about numbers. I would also not suggest letting your children ride the bus, as bullying is taken quite lightly by the bus drivers and multiple things happen on the bus that no one seems to notice. By now I am honest in saying that Azle High School is by far the WORST school I have ever attended. The school invests frivolous amounts of funds on building "new 7 million dollar" gyms instead of focusing on what is actually essential to the school. Words cannot describe how disappointed I am with this school and how horrible I have had it since coming here."
