"Update on the review from Mrs. Ozuna! 1/1/24 If I could give this place -5, -10 or -50 stars if possible, I would. This place is quite literally money hungry. How can you guys update new locations but the ORIGINAL LOCATION LEAVE UNTOUCHED? Most of the equipment is broken. Molded, or rain stain.. bathrooms, ceilings… the VENDING MACHINE… is so old the soda cans displayed are popped open. There’s not even drinks in there lol oh and roaches! Yay. Strict about attendance yet don’t have the updated equipment! Why would any student want to attend? half the time the instructors don’t actually instruct with proper items needed. They have potholes EVERYWHERE in the parking lot as well. It would be great if McAllen could have a great cosmo school. This place has potential but it’s hard apparently especially for this school that has been here for how long? More than 20 years?? What I’ve posted is not even half of it. I left that place, wasn’t worth it. I’ll be going to a more updated institution. Oh and I know the reply person will try to “fight back” on these “accusations” (true facts actually) or delete it but I was there and experienced it. **Of course I’d start the year this way. To make sure no other student falls for your terrible institution! So they can take their money elsewhere! So they can learn in a clean, updated, nonjudgmental place. My failures or your failures to be a good institution? Do better Mrs. Ozuna! I really hope this year you learn to do better from this review. **everyone, if you guys don’t believe this review PLEASE walk through every single room and examine the bathrooms, ask to turn on every equipment.. look at ceilings… ask questions because I failed to do so…** This goes for any school but this is directed to THIS cosmo school."

"Have gotten my hair colored here twice and they nail it each time. Wonderful work! Better than other pricy salons I've been to."

"This school is a joke. Over priced for teachers that are never there. And when they are there they barely teach. Students literally learn by YouTube or TikTok. All the money they make off each student they can at least provide uniform, fix parking lot, fix leaky roof, and invest in an exterminator. And get real administrators and teachers that love what they do and teach. Once a teacher doesn’t like a student they target you until you quit or graduate. They make your life hell. They allow bullying amongst students. And they are bully’s themselves. It’s not slander if it comes out straight from your students mouths. And they have proof of it."

"If i could 0 STARS Went here to study as a manicurist... Worst decision ever they lure you in with this nice attitude from a video they have posted and forget about you once your in class. Ms. Ozuna is also extremely unprofessional and clearly doesn't care about the students but just getting as many clients in the school salon as she can. The teachers here aren't trained either and I've had nearly 4 teachers within my 6 months of school here with these people, most of my knowledge was off of social media instead of the teachers themselves, the girls in here aren't friendly either and the teachers clearly don't know how to handle problems professionally. I'd recommend this new school opening up in Edinburg, Athena's creations."
