SureStay Plus Hotel by Best Western St. Louis Airport 11380 Natural Bridge Road, Bridgeton, MO 63044

"When we checked in we were given a double room, 2 full size beds. Went to the front counter and showed them the reservation for our king size, then she proceeded to question the room and say it has to be king. After everything she finally got us in the King. The lobby had a sign that said they were renovating... the pool looked green and the hot tub was drained with caution tape. Once we got to the room it looked updated but you can tell by the base boards and the bathroom that it hadn’t been done fully. The a/c unit was so loud that we had to turn it on and off so many times, but it was cold! When I went to get the tv remote I noticed they had a carbon monoxide warning, “that if you experience any of these symptoms, you need to get out.” The feel of the sheets and towels made us feel dirty. We refused to take a shower in there, and a good thing too because I turned on the water and the tub filled up but wouldn’t drain. We canceled the reservation for day 2. Will not be coming back. I wish I would have read the reviews fully and not spent $130 on this experience... we even payed more for the Buffett breakfast and we didn’t have to."

"We stayed 2 nights here. The beds were comfortable. The pool, outdoors, was large and clean. They're remodeling and it's about half way done. Going to be beautiful. You can hear the airport a Lil bit but it just put me to sleep lol. Breakfast was a full buffet and very good!! I've stayed in a lot of hotels and while this isn't the best. It is definitely a good one! Pretty quiet and friendly staff."

"Rude staff. The rooms were awful. The carpet was wet in our first room from the a.c. leaking. The second room the smoke detector was hanging from the wall not working. The room was dirty. It smelled awful. We won't ever be back here. The rooms were wayyyyy over priced. It's one of those 30 dollar hotels that double the price. Not to mention they have homeless people who sleep in their hallways and parking garage."

"The surestay is currently being remodeled, this leads to some major inconvenience. I had to go through the bar to get to my room and back to the lobby. I had to change rooms 3 times because their system was messed up and we kept getting the wrong bed. Even after all the inconveniences I had a decent stay. The bed was very comfortable and once we got into a room it was nice. The maintenance guy there went above and beyond even going as far as cleaning a room so we could get in! The staff was all very understanding and apologetic for the inconveniences. I witnessed the front desk being backed up and the staff remained courteous and friendly with all the guests even those that were rude to them."

"Hotel could use some updates, maintenance and better housekeeping. We couldn't enter into the hotel from the outside door once we got our room key because the electronic door was not working. The carpets in the corridors are in dire need of replacing or at least a good scrubbing. Once we finally walked around the hotel to another entrance and got to our room, the floor inside the room was sticky and the bedspread was not clean but we were exhausted at this point and just dealt with it. It was only two nights. The toilet wasn't clean in the bathroom either but hand sanitizer comes in very handy when issues like these arise. On the upside, there is a lounge on the premises that closes at 12am and the hotel has a bit more than the standard Continental breakfast. It wasn't the worst place to stay but definitely not what we're accustomed to. I probably wouldn't stay there again, not unless I didn't have any other choice."
