Build-A-Bear Adventure

"First, we choose to go to this location because it was a different one and they just opened the playground. I got there on Monday, at 10:30 and I never felt so unwelcome. I went there with my daughter to get a gift for her grandmother, who lives overseas and she didn’t see for 1 year. The two workers were doing new bears just ignored us until I asked for help. One of them helped me but she didn’t move herself to teach me how to put a voice in the bear. I need to ask AGAIN where it was the voice recorder and how I need to do. She stands up, got the voice recorder and explained it in a really annoying way. She didn’t care, she went back to her work and kept her talk with her friend. My daughter was waiting to fill the bear, to pick the heart, to do the whole thing to make this gift especial. The lady JUST filled up the bear, without my daughter’s help. We stayed a little bit in the playground but still, we didn’t feel welcome there. It was our first and last experience in this location."

"The reason for the review was a recent trip today, we were not part of a birthday party that was supposed to happen but our children still wanted to build a bear. There was no one in the building bear area at the time and the front person asked if we were part of the party which we said no, and they said "well we're mainly a party venue." Which is, from our experience coming here three or four times, 90% inaccurate. I feel like that was the wrong way to approach the situation. It made us feel unwelcomed and honestly very annoyed. If this was just myself coming here in a different scenario I would have walked out. We still got to build a bear and all the other staff were fantastic; it was a typical Build-A-Bear experience. Our kids also love the new climbing structure. I feel like this location needs to be reminded that Build-A-Bear would not be what it is without the walk-in visitor, we end up spending over $140 for just two children.... Living in O'Fallon, Missouri there is no way I would go further when this one is closer to us."

"Went here for a birthday party over the weekend. I thought this was ging to be a very cool experience but I wasn't to impressed... - I excepted more decor when you entered - the building was choppy - the build A bear part was just there, no centers/ stations - the party rooms were just painted nothing that screamed party or anything - the acarde I could go on and on about but there were only 5 games to play that wasn't a claw game. - 3 selfie stations with the selfie lights and cords out for everyone to trip on - they were building the play area when we were there and had a huge crane in the middle of the acarde. Not safe at all with kids running around... The kids had fun which is the main part but it definetly wasn't what I excepted."

"We had our daughters 4th Birthday at Build-A-Bear Adventure. She had the best time. We had the Build-A-Bear Adventure cake and it was so good! We added the decorations to it. The arcade was a lot of fun with a variety of games for everyone! I loved that they had games that were perfect size for my girl. We did the Fantastic Adventure party package and $15 game cards was plenty for all the kids! They did not have a ton of options for $20 and under bears and some that were on sale online were not on sale in the store which was very disappointing. I did however like that the party host, Simon made sure everyone stayed in the prices range and had a good understanding that extras would have to be paid separately. I did order 4 Pizzas which was confirmed 3 separate times and they still didn't get ordered for our 12 o'clock party, but they did make it right by giving us a 10% discount on our part package. Also, don't bring a pinata you won't be able to do it there, which was so disappointing for our girl. Overall it was a great experience that we would do again. 8/10! ⭐️"

"We love Build-A-Bear Adventure! The location is super convenient in Chesterfield. We took my daughter there a couple times this year. First, to build her bear and a second time for a cupcake decorating class. She loves the arcade and the selfie photo backgrounds. All the employees are very nice and helpful. If you don't have free hands to do the bear's certificate in the bear area you can ask them to do one at checkout. The cupcake decorating class is great for anyone even grandparents. They gave us drinks and held our cup cakes on a cart while we played in the arcade."
