"Cute spot that makes a young child's haircut a pleasant experience with fun chairs shaped like trains, trucks and airplanes. Great little play table in the back so kids can watch and play. The bathroom is clean and even has a urinal for boys too that is lower. Well lit, lots of fun accessories for girls and different products that are more kid friendly. Everyone is nice and friendly. We love Fatima and Alberina the best. They are so skilled with the scissors and buzzers no matter what hair style you need. These 2 ladies also are so good at m Helping the children feel comfortable. I'd avoid the Asian lady and Russian lady for any haircuts. The Asian lady, no matter who is in her chair cries and is upset. She isn't patient and no matter what a parent says she does it her way which is frustrating when it is your child and you want or need their hair cut in another style. She isn't very gentle either with the buzzer. As for the Russian hair dresser, you can't miss her, she's all dolled up and acts like she's afraid of hair or something. Every haircut is uneven; it is as though she cannot cut a straight line. Let alone doesn't want to get dirty. Overall, a good spot if you find a good Stylist and Hair dresser that your child feels comfortable with. They treat the kids to a toy in the treasure chest after their haircut or a little snack. There is a huge toy display with trucks and stuffed toys too. The trucks are overpriced but the stuffed toys are great quality and brand for the price. Their prices did go up again though. Through all those who we saw, Fatima and Alberina are the only ones worth seeing. Make sure yoy get their punch card too to save after a few haircuts."
"Alberina A is the best, she is excellent with her work, I've recently moved to bloomington but still I prefer to drive 150 miles for my daughter haircut, The most fun and exciting place for kids haircut. I highly recommend everyone to book her for all your next appointments"
"We went for our first haircut for a child with very curly hair, and we could not have been happier. Everyone there was extremely friendly and Carmen did an absolutely fantastic job on our son's hair in what was a very smooth and enjoyable process. We cannot recommend their Glenview location enough!"
"We had a great first haircut experience today with Stella. I attempted to cut my 22 month old’s hair myself and wasn’t happy with the result. She listened to what style/ cut I wanted and did a great job!"
"First time being here. My son's haircut was $23 dollars. WORTH IT. The stylist that cut my child's hair was Ms. Donna. 20 years in experience. Was open and accepting to my son and his disability. She was straight forward, guiding me what to do to help with the haircut process. My son is autistic. Haircuts are hard. Ms. Donna worked her magic and the experience was so much better than his first time at a hair salon. I was able to sit with my son. That was so helpful. Ms. Donna praised my son for how well he did. She educated me with tips to help him. Professional and kind. So thankful for Pigtails and crewcuts! Staff was welcoming and professional. Clean salon. Masks are optional here."
