He is thorough with sharing information (might even draw a diagram or two if it helps!) and took the time to check in to see if I have any questions. A student accompanied him and I was informed about it and asked for my permission prior to any exams so that was awesome. A woman (presumably a nurse) was asked into the room for my breast & vaginal exam/cervical swab which also made me feel comfortable— though Dr. Harkins was very professional and I had no reserves with him as my doctor at all.
