"AMY PLUMMER 5 stars, Her staff office -is horrible. they are inconsistent, and that ends up costing you time, money and a lot of frustration. Their billing is so inconsistent in applying proper insurance and charges and it is very frustrating in dealing with them. My wife has been with them 10 years, and had 2 operations with AMY PLUMMER whom we like, but today we went in with a new insurance as the year changed . It was the same coverage but our company switched to "Aetna Traditional PPO Choice Pos II". The best possible insurance under the current laws! We were told we were not covered because we are "not in network". Keep in mind that my insurance covers "out of network", but checking the network on the Aetna website shows it is in network! We were robbed $222 for a previous appointment without coverage. ... They just called me back! I will give the details later... UPDATE: WE ARE COVERED and IN NETWORK! They gave me an apology! Which I DO APPRECIATE! But the hassle does still sting. Last visit was reduced with refund... Upgraded to 3 stars from 1."

"I have 4 children all delivered by Dr. Amy Plummer, the oldest being 18 and my youngest 5. I love this doctor so much. Although I only see her once a year she always greets me with a smile and leaves me with a hug. She is quick but she knows what's she's talking about. If she's late that's probably because she just delivered a baby. I always recommend this doctor and don't mind waiting my turn. She answers my questions above and beyond. If she doesn't know what's wrong she will run multiple test to find the answer and doesn't stop until she finds it. It doesn't take her long. If it wasn't for Dr. Plummer I would had never known I had cancer. She found it, removed it and I'm living a normal happy life. I highly recommend this doctor!"

"I am a current patient of Dr. Plummer's (but not for much longer). When I first started seeing her I very much liked having her as my Dr. But in the past 2 years or so I've noticed that she's gotten so busy that she's constantly late to our appointments. I always feel like I am rushed in my appointments with her, like Im not truly cared for. I started seeing the head nurse instead bc she was much more relaxed and spent as much time with me as I needed to answer my questions and alleviate my concerns, however she ended up moving away so I had to go back to seeing Plummer. The final straw for me is that, for the 2nd time in a row, my pharmacy has not been able to get ahold of Dr.P/Staff to get my birth control reordered. This has caused me to receive my BC late, and therefore screws with my cycle and forces me to use condoms for sex for a month. My cycle always takes a few months to get back to normal when this happens, and I usually bleed for 10+ days and cramp a lot in the mean time. This Dr and Staff are directing negative effects on my health and I will be switching offices soon because of this."

"1. Her staff can be incredibly rude and slow, I mean real slow. But others can be professional and nice. So there is a mixture, which makes it unprofessional. 2. Her phlebotomy lab,oh my goodness. I had the worse experience of my life there. After being stuck by her over and over finally on number 7 she got it, I told her I didn't feel good and she said well I have to get your blood very rudly ( I had just drank glucose to test) I had already been back there twice to have my blood drawn in a span of 30 minutes between each drawing, I began to slump in the chair and I desperately said Ma'am I don't feel good, she said in a rude voice again, I'm almost done. I began gagging and threw up into the waste basket that she finally handed me. I blacked out and then come to, the nurses were starring at me and holding a juice to give me. While the two nurses who came to help where sweet,caring and professional the experience was just a nightmare. 3. Boyd she knows her stuff, but she has favorites. No kidding, just like a teacher and a kid at school, this doctor has her favourite patients. My sister inlaw is treated amazing, while my mom quit after two or three visit for the lack of care and how rude she was each time. I have the in between, some days she cares and listens and other days I'm run through her office like cattle at an auction. Over all decide for yourself but this is just my honest experience. I'm not bashing Boyds practice just pointing out details which could be improved."

"I have gone to this doctor since I was 12. So first I will say now at 25 she was good then. To be honest its as if she lacks compassion for her job. Her office staff get fired and different people are there every couple of months. When I was pregnant with my first baby I had some complications. For one I'll tell you straight up her office staff are horrible. In the past before I was pregnant I went in for testing that greatly effected my fertility chances and found out 4 years later after a surgery from another ob that I had pid. So for instance if they would have called me previous to testing what I had thought was wrong I wouldn't have sat so long and then my body progressed to having big issues. My biggest complaint when I was pregnant was at 24 weeks I was tested for my blood sugar and failed. I didn't find out till 28, then at 28 weeks I was tested again and failed. Unforatntly despite calling and the dr. plummer explaining she was "behind" I was not given a just explanation into why at all I had not been notified even upon calling that I had gestational diabetes. So at 32 weeks I found out and she wasn't empathetic at all. Just like hey I had a rough pregnancy worse then you sort of deal. Also during my first ultrasound she said congratulations you are a mother of a blob with a heartbeat. like wow thats enthusiastic. Especially since my chances of being pregnant were not good, I was ecstatic but her enthusiasm for her job killed it. At 30 weeks I wanted to switch doctors but couldn't I will say though that I had to have a csection..I was induced due to gd. And she did a great job with the surgery. So bedside manner..no not really there..not really compassionate..but does she know what shes doing in terms of surgery..I would say yes."
