"Heritage high school is a mediocre place for children to thrive in their learning environment. The teachers, particularly, do not care about the students success and instead are teaching the bare minimum needed. Not even elaborating on the topic they are teaching about, they leave the students to go figure out material on their own, with no guidance or help whatsoever. I wish teachers there would have a passion to teach and not do it because they are forced to. My problems in detail: The Spanish curriculum needs immense work because they are piling on assignments that are not even for a grade and causing a massive amount of stress. Not to mention the grading criteria for tests and quizzes. Not sure if it is just one teacher but they give you about 4 minutes to do a SPEAKING TEST and if there is technological issues they will respond with "you will be receiving a placeholder 0, fix it next time." In what way is this fair? In what way is this acceptable in a learning environment that implores you to learn from your mistakes? Of course not all teachers are like this, just Ms. Voinoff who teaches Spanish 2."

"This school is the best to make friends and connections, but the teacher's are nice and respectful to all student of any race or color. But my only recommendation is to bring lunch from home because, the school lunch sucks and the pizza is so greasy but, if you are getting lunch at this school, I recommend you get food from the pasta-bar, the Mexican food, or the chicken. But the only thing I hate about this school is that some Ap classes, give you way to much work and the teacher really push you to have a good gpa , which in turn creates tremendous competition among students and teachers.If your student is going to this school, I recommend to meet with students your councilors and push your kid to join some clubs like BPA, HOSA, DECA, Band, Tennis, Football, Debate, NHS, NAHS, and so many more."

"This is the first year to have a child in high school. I was extremely worried about all the negative things other people have experienced in any high school. But Heritage has been great so far! They have several ways to keep parents informed and I appreciate that. The staff is really great! Always helpful! My kiddo is doing great here!"
