"My wife is a patient of Dr. Gianotti. As a husband, I would not want my wife under the care of any other Doctor. Dr. G is so kind and takes his time to explain everything that you need to know. The first time we went to see him was under very stressful circumstances. He made us feel at ease immediately and he was very patient with me as I was a nervous wreck. My wife had to have a hysterectomy and Dr. G was amazing through the process. He prayed with us before the surgery and the fact that he is a God fearing Christian man is a plus for us. I just can't say enough wonderful things about Dr. Gianotti."
"I have been a patient of Dr G for a few years now and just love his care and reassuring style. It would have been awesome being a patient of his when I was having my five babies, but I am glad to have him for my GYN years. Whenever I’ve had an issue they have gotten me in right away. Highly recommend if he’s still taking new patients."
"Edit: after posting review they did call me back and both the nurse and the Dr apologized and fit me into the schedule for within 1 hour of my original appt. They also let me know that starting next year Dr G is only doing GYN so no more baby emergency reschedules. Exam was quick. I moved from 1 star to 3…I need more experience with this Dr before fully recommending but am optimistic. I will say the religious iconography in the office gives me a little pause though it wasn’t mentioned or pushed. That might be a plus to most people and if it is for you it’s worth knowing. Less controversially he’s a big Star Wars guy too. Original Review below: Absolutely avoid at all costs. The office is so poorly run that you’ll never actually get into see the Dr! After waiting for an appt for months I was called day off to reschedule. I called to reschedule and after being on hold for 20 min was told to leave a message and they’d get back to me. What a complete waste of time. If you ever need to actually see the Dr best to avoid this one"
"He’s was amazing and caring through my OB phase as well as the birth of my child and he’s continued for 7.5 years to take care of my Women’s health needs. His bedside manner is amazing! The is the most caring doctor ever!"
"Dr. Marco Giannotti was my primary gynecologist from 2018-2020. I was seeking care from him because of my chronic abdominal and pelvic pain. It was heavily affecting me every day and eventually led to me being fired from part time work and dropping out of my college classes. Dr. Giannotti performed a laparoscopy on me on March 9, 2020 to search for potential endometriosis. Dr. Giannotti did not find anything abnormal during my laparoscopy. However, I decided to seek an endometriosis excision specialist’s opinion because it was recommended to me by my gastroenterologist, Dr. Vivian Asamoah of Katy, Texas. I decided to see Dr. Anthony James O’Connell of Dallas, Texas because of his knowledge in endometriosis excision surgery and treatment. I requested my medical records, specifically my OR report from my first laparoscopy, to be sent to Dr. O’Connell in January 2021 for my first appointment with him in February 2021. He never received the documents from Dr. Giannotti’s office, so I had to give Dr. O’Connell my own CD copy of my medical records that I had paid for myself. It wasn’t until early July of 2022 that Dr. O’Connell’s office finally received my medical records from Dr. Giannotti’s office, over 1 year after I initially requested them. When Dr. O’Connell reviewed my OR report from my first laparoscopy, it was discovered that I did not have any biopsies taken during that surgery because there was no pathology report. The other concern from Dr. O’Connell was that Dr. Giannotti had disclosed to me that he had used the DaVinci robot during my surgery, however according to the port sizes and incision placements listed on my OR report, Dr. Giannotti used a traditional laparoscope for my laparoscopy. Another concern was that I had several abdominal and trans-vaginal ultrasounds at Dr. Giannotti’s office with his ultrasound technicians, but it wasn’t until I had an abdominal ultrasound with Dr. Anthony O’Connell himself that I was informed my uterus is retroverted. I decided to have another exploratory aparoscopy with Dr. O’Connell in July 2022 after being on Norethindrone 5mg (high dose progesterone) daily for a year and noticing symptom improvement. My laparoscopy/cystoscopy/appendectomy was July 27, 2022, and Dr. O’Connell diagnosed me with stage 2 deeply infiltrated endometriosis (DIE) and mild interstitial cystitis/painful bladder syndrome. Nearly all of my deeply infiltrated endometriosis was located in the cul-de-sac area behind my uterus, where in my OR report with Dr. G it was reported that a small amount of fluid was removed from that same area. My July 2022 pathology report confirmed the biopsied tissue was endometriosis, as well as that my appendix had shown signs of acute appendicitis in the past, which I had never been treated for appendicitis in my life. My biggest concern about my first laparoscopy with Dr. Giannotti is that there were no biopsies taken, which is necessary to diagnose endometriosis, and that he did not use the DaVinci robot when he advertises his certification and access on his website: “Dr. Giannotti is certified to perform robotic surgery using the DaVinci Robotic Surgical System for both exploratory surgery as well as definitive surgery such as hysterectomy. This minimally invasive surgical technique allows patients to return to normal daily activity much more quickly than traditional methods. Utilizing DaVinci "Firefly" technology has also allowed him to evaluate and treat endometriosis more thoroughly than traditional laparoscopic methods have been able to in the past.“ I suffered for 2 additional years and had to seek counseling because of Dr. Giannotti’s lack of appropriate care. I could have potentially been diagnosed with endometriosis in 2020 if he had used the proper tools that were at his disposal. But I instead spent $4,000+ on a surgery that was a complete waste of time and money, and it took a severe toll on my mental and physical health. I thought I was crazy, and that the pain was in my head, when in reality I was in fact suffering from endometriosis."
