"I delivered in January 2020. I did not originally choose Heinaman, my main OB in the group dropped me as she was transitioning and I was forced with Heinaman as she was available. Initially she was informative, answered all questions. She does not have a warm bedside manner. I didn't mind, I expected her to deliver my child safely and efficiently not hold my hand. I was induced at 40+5 at midnight. She came in around 8 am broke my water and increased the pitocin & then she left. I never saw her again. The rest of my labor and delivery was handled by the on call nurses and doctor. Without the water cushion, the force of the contractions and my baby's head inflamed my cerix and I developed an anterior lip. I went from 9.5 cm to 9cm. They put water back into the amniotic sac to reduce the pressure and stop any further swelling. I was told I'd have to prepare for a C-Section. I listened to my body ignored them and pushed my baby out against the nurses wishes. This was my 3rd natural delivery and it was the worst."

"Dr. Hienaman happened to be the doctor on call when I delivered my youngest, 5 years ago. I arrived at the hospital 10cm dilated and ready to push. Dr. Hienaman was incredibly rude during delivery to the point my husband snapped back at her while I was pushing. She then gave me an episiotomy without even telling me before she did it, much less asking for consent! My daughter was 6.5 lbs, a half pound smaller than my older daughter who I was able to birth perfectly fine WITHOUT an episiotomy. The recovery was so much worse than the first time around because of this. I had always had a great experience with Dr. Holt and Dr. Hold throughout both pregnancies. Both men were very informative through the whole process, exams, delivery, post-delivery, etc. It's extremely disappointing that a female doctor would have such disregard for her patients and their right to make informed decisions about their body."

"This happened to me 14 years ago with this doctor but it really affected me. My birth experience with her was traumatic at best. She yelled at me wouldn’t let my husband back in my room until I begged her. Then one of the nurses was going to call security on me because I was screaming in pain so loudly. It was awful I felt like the smallest person in the wold because of her. Of course with my last pregnancy I switched doctors and he gave me a wonderful birth experience."

"Highly recommend, she delivered all three of my babies. She was very informative, thorough, and sweet. Her nurses are all great. They have a busy office, but i never felt like I was ignored or mistreated. She is wonderful! Love her and cannot imagine having anyone else be a part of such an amazing part of my life."
