"I first saw the add for the 2005 honda civic ex on ebay for sale by this dealership. Price on ebay was 5750 obo. I've been looking for something good on gas, as my 4runner is using 2 gallons each day to drive to and from work. The pictures on the ebay post made this car look amazing. I could tell there was a couple of small places, but didn't think it was terrible for the year, price, and mileage. I spoke to Brad about the vehicle over the phone. I was nervous about buying a vehicle site unseen from Missouri, because i live in East TN and going there to view it in person wasn't an option for me at the time. Every time I spoke to him on the phone, he seemed very busy, and barely made time to answer my questions. When I got my car about a few days after they received payment, I was pretty disappointed in this cars cosmetic appearance. Some issues look way worse in person than the pictures displayed. Some issues weren't visible in the pics, and I wasn't told about some things. When I opened the door to get in the inside of the car, especially the drivers side, it was filthy. There was literally muddy water inside the drivers door. It has several cigarette burns on the seats and upholstery (I wasn't even told it was smoked in). The fact it was smoked in isn't an issue. It's that alot of the cosmetic issues were deliberately left out of the pictures. The front bumper has quite a bit more damage than pictured. It's barely hanging on on the passenger side (Clips are broken). There was a huge orange paint? Stain in the backseat of the car and a huge crack in the rear bumper (again, none of these things pictured or mentioned) There is oil all over the front of the motor (my fiance says it looks like they replaced the valve cover gasket) But when you don't know much about vehicles and you pop the hood and see oil down the front of the motor, it's cause for concern! For me anyways. The radio was in anti theft mode, so after 3 days of no radio I took the stock one out, only to find out the back speakers did not work, and the front ones sound terrible. Overall, I'd rate my buying experience and happiness of purchase a 5/10. I paid 5,000 for the car, plus 450 to ship it to me. Had I seen the true condition of this car, I wouldn't have paid that. Had I paid 3500 to 4000 for this car, I'd be singing a different tune."
